We need a countertop for our bathroom. Like the color Verde Guatemala, but realize this is marble. Could subsitute something close to this color either in granite or another comparable product. What do you suggest and where is your closet location in MD or PA? |

My husband and I were also interested in this stone for a kitchen countertop but didn't realize it was marble. What's the closest granite stone to this one? Monte Cristo? |

Do you offer this marble top with a 48-inch vanity in cherry or mahogany finish as a unit? |

Judy: Well, that is marble. It's 3/4" thick unlike granite which is 1 1/4" so it will look a little thin in the kitchen unless we do build up edge which may be expensive depending on the profile. Another thing is durability. Marbles are far less resistant to scratching and staining than granites. They are fine for decorative pieces or bathroom countertops but if you cook a lot and realy use your kitchen I would definately go with granite. |
