lpa: Yes, granite floor made out of full slabs will be more expensive than tiles ( granite or porcelain) if that is what you are asking about. It is just more labor intensive to put full granite slabs on the floor and the material costs more as well. Compering granite tiles to regular ceramic or porcelain tiles may be a different story. Sometimes good porcelain tiles cost more than popular granite tiles but the least expensive ceramic tiles are probably going to be less expensive that the least expensive granite tiles.
