Fran: Maybe with low quality material, we only carry premium slabs and we seal the marble so the elements will not change it's color. I suspect the countertop owner whom informed you about the loss color did not seal the marble with a high quality water based sealer every six months.

Do you know of any problems occuring with Jerusalem Gold? I've heard it can lose its color and turn white. Does that sound right? Thanks..Fran
