I have a sunny kitchen with light maple cabinets and terra cotta porcelain floor. I just purchased a 5' island that has black granite and a walnut base like my kitchen table. The area is large but I think I should stick with a light granite like Bianco Romano but I love this. Gray goes well with the terra cotta. I'm I off base? Can I send a couple of pictures. thxs

shelley: Scroll down for the name. I think it should go quite well. The creme in the stone has a rather pinkish/salmon like hue to it. Not sure if you'd like that.

I have 3 bathrooms that I want to install new granite counter tops in. All bathroom floors are covered in a Durango Travertinewhich has only a little movement in it. The walls are a dark taupe/warm gray and the woodwork[crown, base and cabinets]are bright white. Do you have any recommendations for granite selection?

Shannon: What you're looking at (Juparana Colombo) is probably your best bet because it will add warmth to the room and match with you crown molding as well.
