angela: Never heard of it, sorry. Different companies give stones their own name, it gets confusing. |

Is this 2cm with a built up edge or 3cm with a special cut? I've heard 2cm needs a built up edge. Do you have phots without the build up on 2cm? |

Trudy: The best thing is to take a piece of the cabinetry when you visit our location so you can put it against the slab and see if it looks good. I think it would work, there is not an overwhelming amount of gold/yellow in this stone, it has plenty of greys/light browns. And it would tie-in with the appliances nicely. |

Hello--we are stuck on finding a granite color. We have medium maple floors with a slightly reddish tint. We have picked a modified shaker door with a med/dark stain that goes really well with the floor. Unfortunately, we have biscuit/bisque appliances that are too new to change out now. Would this color granite possibly go? The kitchen designer thought some of the golds/yellows were wrong for the shade of the cherry, but we are drawn to these shades. Any other suggestions you can give us would be most appreciated! Thanks! |

Tina G.: Try Giallo Ornamental. Look it up in the Stone Gallery. It has some more movement. |

I have a Brazilian Cherry h/w floor and have ordered amaretto cream glazed maple cabinets with an antique black bar (reverse accents on both). I'm leaning towards Giallo St. Cecilia which matches beautifully but it doesn't have enough movement for me. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! |

mchcan: You can either go darker or lighter - that's up to you. Use the stone selection tool and see what stones match the style. Backsplash is usually done in tile. |

We currently have traditional golden oak cabinets and golden oak flooring. We replaced all the appliances and now have stainless steel. What color of granite would work best for our countertops? We like earth tones, but do we need to go darker for contrast? How do you decide what colors for your backsplash? |

I think it will look good, you will a have good contrast between the cabinets and the stone, and it will go nicely with the flooring. |

I like this color granite - would it look good with maple cabinets and a medium hardwood floor? The adjoining room is open with a dark sage wall color. |

The stone itself is priced somewhat in the middle. The waterfall edge though is one of the most expensive. |
