I have white/butterscotch cabinets and juparana vyara countertops. I didn't think the countertops would have so much of a peach undertone. Any ideas how to get the countertops and cabinets to flow now with a combination of backsplash and wall paint ideas??? The butterscotch and juparana vyara doesnt match very well. |

Donna: Beautiful, it's not that dark like you wanted but still contrasts the cabinets and compliments the floor. Another stone to consider in that shade is the Bordeaux. |

Tina: Well, for cherry cabinets look at Giallo Ornamental as a light option or Pocono Green for a dark. With maple you could consider Tropical Brown, or Ubatuba. |

We have a 3/4 pine stain on oak cabinets, oak floors, black appliances and wrought iron fixtures/knobs. I'm torn between lighter or darker granite. I know more brown would be too much, so I'd like to have something with black in it but not completely black. Any suggestions? I saw a Giallo Portabella sample, but not sure if the pattern will be too "busy." |

Patty: Ultimately, it is your kitchen and my suggestions can be thrown out the window. But, I do like your list and think that all of these colors would work well. Which one you end up getting is really up to you. Also, you have the visuals of your kitchen while I don't, so I would tend to trust you on the selection. :) |

But with the Rouge cabinets thought that SCC would be the best choice. Kindly let me know your views |

Cherry(maroonish) cabinets, terra cota tile floor(hues of plum, maroons), ss appliances. It's a nice combo but we find that none of the lighter granites go well with the tile. dakota mahogany seems perfect w/ the flecs of maroonish/browns, black, hues of blue and silver. thoughts? |

Hi, are there any floor tiles to match this top? If not what color would you go with? A cream, brown, beige? |

Which photos and stone # show Giallo Ornamental? We have selected it with espresso stained oak cabinets - what other light-cream coloured granites might you recommend? |

Anne, it depends a lot on what the Giallo looks like as they vary a lot. Personally, I would lean towards the Venetian Gold. |

Dolores, use the stone selection tool on the main page. Find your cabinet color in the swatches, and then just start looking at different stones. I'm sure you will find something that works for you. |

Love all your kitchen granite countertops. My husband and are interested in purchasing granite countertop for our kitchen.
My cabinets are bleach pink frost, the walls are faux stone wash color. I need help in deciding the color for the countertop.
