I have cherry cabinets with mocha glaze. Should I do cashmere gold or new venetian gold counters?nters woo |
|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2008-01-30 09:35:00 |
Sharon: Yes, but there wouldn't be as much contrast. If a low contrast setting is what you're looking for, then I don't see any problems. |

Would Juparana Bordeaux go with cabinets and an island similar to this? Kitchen in 25x14'9". |
|

PITA: Dark will make the kitchen gloomy and heavy. Seek medium colors with dynamic patterns. You have plenty of countertop real estate to show them off! |

A large u-shaped kitchen with 8 foot island in the middle and buffet at end. Done in double expresso ( not really black but very dark brown).Cream floors. Back splash will match floor . Two walk-out windows . Should i look at granite with many veins and movement or with consistency instead. Would dark colour be appropriate ? |

Renee: The island is 6 feet wide and 14 feet long! HUGE! It's actually made from two slabs. Can you spot the seam? |

Can you give the dimensions of the island? I have not seen an island like this. It is beautiful. I'm trying to see if it is too large for my kitchen. Thanks |

Is Black Galaxy or Black Pearl a higher grade stone? What is the approximate sq foot cost difference? |

I have maple cabinets in a washed finish so they are very light. The floors are white tiles. We are having a hard time deciding -have several samples. We narrowed it down to a couple. The color sample says #3217. Do you know if this is the same as the one pictured? (Juparana Gold)? |
|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2007-11-09 09:17:53 |
Audra: I personally like the #38. The floor could be slate for example.. definitely not uniform. |
|

THANK YOU! Bianco Romano it is. BUT I noticed that it is listed twice here #38 and #41? Which one were you refering to? Also- what about the floor?? I am doing tile but color suggestion? THANK YOU |
|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2007-11-08 11:06:36 |
Audra: Definitely Bianco Romano! |
|
Name: Audra | Date: 2007-11-07 18:59:07 |
THANK YOU!
I keep going back to Bianco Romano and Luna Pearl so I guess I knew light was the answer. Do you think Bianco Romano over Luna Pearl?Thank you!
One more question-please-what color ceramic floor tile do you think? |
|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2007-11-07 09:03:06 |
Audra: Go white! Bianco Romano is a very very traditional looking stone. It looks like marble! Putting black on these cabinets would make the room way too heavy and gloomy. |

help-I am completely overwhelmed. My cabinets are similar color/style to those pictured here,w/ black appliances. Problem is I can not for the life of me decide on floor tile and granite. Originally I was thinking of a light beigeeutral floor with black galaxy granite..but is that too dark? I was hoping for a more traditional look...HELP |

Char: I'm in favor of the Juparana Golden Vyara. Classy looks, and just enough movement to keep it interesting. |

I have medium - dark brown maple cabinets and Stainless Steel Appliances. I'm deciding between Noche or Durango travertine floors. What granite would look best;
Golden Oak, Juparano Columbo, or Juparano Vyra. Or any other suggestions? |

All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2007-08-11 11:47:57 |
Margaret: The contrast will come from the pattern. It should be alright. Same goes for the Juparana. |

I have white cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a warm brown wood floor in a relatively small kitchen. Am looking for a granite not too contemporary. Can you please help? I am completely overwhelmed. |
|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2007-07-12 10:44:27 |
lmt: Juparana Vyara Gold is a beautiful stone but your kitchen may lack contrast if you put it on maple cabinets with natural glaze. You may think about something darker. |

|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2007-05-25 08:46:49 |
Golden Vyara is just a shorter name for Juparana Golden Vyara. Juparana Gold is a bit more varied with more grey to it. |

We use epoxy only for stone. Faucets are mounted by plumbers therefore I cannot answer your question. |
