jeanine m. : Yes, but make sure to put a sample of the cabinet against the slab before final decision to make sure you like how they go together. |

Thank you again. Crema Bordeaux with slate floor and maple wheat cabinets will all go well together? |

jeanine m. : It's down to preference, but I would give the edge to Crema Bordeaux. |

Thank you for your help. One last question. Would you recommend Crema Bordeaux or Bordeaux with my color scheme? |

jeanine m. : The bordeaux is richer & warmer, but if you want to tone it down a little Sucuri will work. |
|
Name: jeanine m. | Date: 2009-10-28 00:04:59 |
I have also found a granite called Sucuri. Would Sucuri also work with the maple wheat and slate or would the Bordeauxs work better? |

jeanine m. : The Bordeaux family of stones are rich in vivid colors and movement. They create a very warm atmosphere, either one would look beautiful with your kitchen set-up. |

I am also considering either Bordeaux or Crema Bordeaux as option. Your opinions on which granite would look best. I understand one is dark and the other 2 are not. Thanks again. |

jeanine m. : We do not carry the stone name "Pokarna Green", but different fabricators give stones their own name. The Matisse looks like a very close relative. |
|
Name: jeanine m. | Date: 2009-10-26 22:43:20 |
Do you have another name for Pokarna Green? I cannot find it on your website. Can you suggest a granite that is similar. Also, how do you think the combination will look. Maple Wheat cabinets, slate floorig and the granite countertop? Any other granite suggestions that would work well with the wheat cabinets and slate floor? Again, thank you so much for your help. |

jeanine m. : They have the same pattern but I don't think its the same stone, The Matisse looks darker. |

I am planning wheat maple cabinets and am looking at Pokarna Green Granite. Is Verde Matisse similar to Pokarna Green? I am also planning on a gauged multi slate floor. Your help is appreciated. |

We have honey oak/medium maple cabinets, similar colored wood flooring and a cream color tile backsplash. What color granite would you suggest? We are trying to select a less expensive color - tier 1. Thanks! |

Chris: Light or dark depends mostly on the size of the room and the available light. You'll usually get more of a punchy look with a darker color. |

I have fruitwood oak cabinets and ceramic tile floors that look like travertine, can you recommend a light and dark color of granite. Which way would you recommend going? |

We are purchasing a home and has natural oak cabinets that we want to keep and putting in ceramic tile, but not sure of style of cabinets. Can you help? |

Lea: Generally you'd want at least some contrast so the lighter you go the better. I would look at St. Cecilia, Giallo Ornamental and other similar stones. You can find them in our Stone Gallery. |

I have a small kitchen and I am just refacing it but keeping the existing honey oak cabinets. What light colors of granite would work best as my countertop? |

Hi again. What about Verde Butterfly with my honey oak cabinet color? We are now looking at the darker granite. |
|

Dawn: Madura gold would work if the pattern on it is very strong. Otherwise the colors are too soft. |

My cabinet color is very similar to the one in this picture. I have a fairly large kitchen, nine foot ceilings and alot of sunlight. HELP! What color goes best with these cabinets? Dark or light? Is there enough contrast to choose Madura Gold Cleopatra? |

Cathy: No, definitely different from Peacock. The pattern of this stone is one of a kind really. |

Similar to Kay in Indiana, I love this stone but cannot find it at local dealers in Virginia. Would a similar stone be Peacock Green? |
|

Might be dark indeed. Unless you invest in a lot of artificial lighting. |

My galley kitchen has breakfast bar overlooking living room. Cabinet color is similar to picture. Almond appliances. Pergo flooring - no color selected. Only light is from window in dining room at end of kitchen. Would this countertop color be too dark? What other b-splash color would you suggest? |
|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2006-12-15 09:24:43 |
That's an interesting idea. It should work. The black will not distract because of the flat color and lack of pattern, while accenting the island. |

My kitchen layout is very similar to this one. My cabinets are honey oak. My floor is a golden color tile. My appliances are stainless and black. I was considering putting Andes Black on the perimeter cabinets with a neutral tile backsplash and either Venetian Gold or Sana CeCecelia on the island. Comments? |

The ID#447 is verde matisse. It may be a bit lighter than in this picture. To answer your question though, we do not sell stone to other fabricators. Sorry! |

I have looked through all of your granite stone colors. I am not finding 447 - Verde Matisse listed (in promotional, classic or exclusive categories). You do have a 447, but it is a different color. I live in Indiana and want this granite. What do I tell my contractor? Is it still available even though it isn't in your granite color options? |
