Kasuba: It looks like a tumbled marble tile although it could be a ceramic tile that looks like stone. |

COLLEEN PAIGE: Unfortunately no. We do not sell tile and so it is completely up to the customer what they choose for the backsplash. |

Just wanted to make sure on this, I had just left a comment-is this granite the New Venetian Gold?Absolutely beautiful, if not, what is the granite?
Thank you ... |

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the picture your home page, the New Venetian countertop. We have this granite on order.
Then I saw the backsplash-one word:
GORGEOUS.
Very country/victorian/french/classy
What kind of stone is that?
Do you have the name/manufacturer, where it can be found to purchase? Absolutely beautiful
Thank-you,
Colleen Paige |

Hi,I\'m planning on getting cherry cabinets for my kitchen and wanted to know which countertop color would go best with the cabinets? I was thinking for gold/beige colors. Any suggestions? |

pinky: Well, I don't really know how the stone looks like, but if it resembles anything else from the Giallo family, then you should be ok. |

i know that i'm annoying - sorry. Just having a hard time with picking a color. We went yesterday and looked at Giallo Crystal I think its also known as golden crystal. How do u feel about this with oak ? Thanks again for all ur help. |

pinky: I'd have to see the slab, but it's good that you're moving towards a darker stone. |
|

we saw a new color that was kind of interesting. It was forest black .. have u heard of it ? What do u think that would look like. This slab came in 2 colors. One was grey based and the other black (which we liked) |

we went looking for autumn tree and none of the warehouses carried it. Is there anything else u can suggest. |
|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2007-11-12 12:11:34 |
pinky: It's not that they're too light, they just come too close to the color and tone of the cabinetry which will make them blend together and that's the last thing you want. |
|
Name: pinky | Date: 2007-11-10 11:14:08 |
Is Autumn tree the name generally used everywhere? i'll try 2 find it. Are all the one's we've looked at too light or yellow for our cabinetry ? |

Pinky: Try Autumn Tree. |

Which granite color would you suggest w/ med/honey oak cabinets ? we've seen new venetian gold, kashmir gold, desert brown. I like homogenous patterns, slabs w/ speckles - not much movement or sand swept patterns i.e. kashmire gold. Our floors r oak (oneday brazillian cherry)with SS appliances. Can u please suggest anything or anything new ? |

Rhonda: With Ivory you start running into a whole different problem - blending. |

I read that you think this is too light to go with white cabs.but is it too light for an ivory glazed with almond or taupe? |

aggie: yes, in general strong patterns need more room to breathe. |

Debra: Ok, after reading the second post, I stand by Blue Eyes. Blue pearl is very silver and will distract from the other two colors. |
|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2007-08-11 10:20:46 |
Debra: Saphire Blue has a very brown look with just some blue in it. Might want to try Blue eyes if you're not afraid of gray. |

That was supposed to be blue pearl. I am designing an idea for an outdoor table and want to blend a blue with the two colors mentioned. |

I am using Giallo Veneziano and Jupanana Columbo Gold but want and accent color with blue. Will sapphire blue or blue blue go? |

Thanks for your opinion AGM! Could you please tell the stone ID # for New Venetian Gold? Thanks! You\'ve been a great help. |

Tina, Honestly, each one is a great choice! Seems like you really did your homework! My personal choice would probably be Madura Gold or New Venetian Gold. |

Which granite would you suggest with red-tone cherry cabinets...santa cecilia gold, giallo (napoleon, veneziano, or ornamental), kashmire gold, new venetian gold, golden leaf, or madura gold? Floor is a tone lighter than cabinets w/ SS appliances. I like speckels w/ very little movement. Thank you so much for your help! :) |

Sue: Absolutely not! Marble is no good in a kitchen. Try Bordeaux Terracota. Look up picture #133 in the kitchen gallery. |
