We are going with a beige/grey slate tile, dark granite, havent decided which one yet but it will be dark/black. I'm trying to decide on the cabinets. We either want a light or darker brown maple. I'm concerned the dark cabinets with the dark granite will blend too much. Is it better to contrast or blend? Or is it more personal style?

We are planning out our kitchen and leaning toward maple cabinets and this butterfly counter top or a tropical green and having a hard time with the back splash and flooring to go together. Would a terra color go with either or both with this counter and maple cabinets or would it be to much?

Don't be afraid of Crema Bordeaux! It's a beautiful stone and it's not really brittle. Unless you plan on working with hammers, you will be just fine :)

I like the Verde Butterfly but I am a little afraid to go with green. i like the crema Bordeau, but I understand it can be brittle. I have medium oak cabinets. I want something a little out of the ordinary. I seem to lean more to patterns that flow rather than speckled. I like sort of rich colors. Can you help?
