Sylvia: Contrast is good -- this stone has burgundy speckling that would compliment the cabinets, I think it would work.

Thanks. We are renovating our small 1500 sqft condo. Inner unit with no windows in kitchen. Kitchen is 11x14 (wall to wall). Only natural light is door to living room (lr) and opening above sink to lr. Will use under cabinet halogen lights and ceiling halogens. We have selected dark (Kaffe/Espresso)maple cabinets. Our floors are natural maple. Appliances are stainless. Would this granite work? Would there be too much contrast with Kaffe/Espresso cabinets? Any suggestions for granite selection? I have used your web and have some ideas, but would value your comments.
