Hi, we have stainless steel appliances and light beige tiles on the floor. We purchased chocolate stained cabinets from kraftmaid - what granite top do you suggest? We don't have a backsplash yet, but I am leaning towards tumbled marble. Thanks, Christine

I an having a hard time picking a granite countertop color. I have a goldish color tile floor, white cabinets and white appliances. I\\\'m going to paint my walls but I want to get the countertops straight. My kitchen is fairly big. As a matter of fact, I have 90 sq. ft. of countertops to replace. HELP, HELP, HELP

I have white kitchen cabinets, oak hardwood floor and stainless steel appliances. We plan on painting the walls a color from gold family (Roasted Sesamee seed). I've got honey oak cabinets, wood flooring, almond appliances, and the walls are earthy tones of a very neutral sage green and terra cotta. My kitchen opens to my family room (same colors in there), so the island will be one of the focal points. Any suggestions on granite color?

lisa: Two granites on the opposite of the spectrum - if you want a toned down and warm feel go with the Vicenza, however the Bordeaux is rich and bursting with life. I'm swaying towards the Bordeaux, enough contrast and it will make the area stand out.

medium oak cabinets with grain pattern, light tan tile floor, white appliances and oilrubbed hardware and faucet. Large kithchen with good lighting and opens to family room. Kitchen has small square islandand white backsplash. Deciding between giallo vicenza and crema bordeaux. Love earthy colors in which the family room has been decorated. what do you think?

I was wondering how giallo vicenza would look with irory cabinets w/cocoa glaze. I want contrast, and I thought having a bit of black in the granite would pick up the black grates on the grates of my stainless appliances. Any feedback would appreciated as I am so confused on colors. My kitchen isn't very large.
