We have just started looking for granite for our kitchen countertops. I originally thought I wanted a lighter color with a tan/khaki and gold color in it. But now I am looking at some darker granites. We have oak cabinets and a white tile floor. Any suggestions? |

We have whitewashed ash cabinets and just added medium brown floor tile. We are adding granite counter-tops and tile backsplash. Which granite color do you think would look better - Tropical Brown or Giallo Vicenza? |

Hello! I have oak cabinets and hardwood floors with a european theme in my kitchen with black curtains. I was thinking of Giallo Vicenza or New Venetian Gold, someone mentioned the Stana Cecilio to go with the lighter tile? I also have a desk and a butlers pantry that I need to do as well. |

Denice: Defiantly, you don't want the tile and granite to match perfectly but rather to compliment each other. |

I have soft green/soft rust colors in tile. Cabinets are a cherry color. Would giallo veneziano work? |

chris: Tropical Brown will give you more contrast. There's a good chance that the Vicenza will blend in. |

Linda Hinger: South Plainfield is the closer facility for you. As for the color, Try Kashmir Gold and other similar stones. |

I am looking for granite counter top for my kitchen. The ordered cabinets are maple. My linoleum is brick texture and in the brown family -from tan to medium brown with a slight touch of pink?.
1.What granite color would you suggest.
2. I live in Mt. Arlington, NJ - Morris County. Should I visit Stroudsburg or S. Plainfield facility. Do both have slabs to chose from? |

Bridget: It's a decent match to both. I would go for the one with the more visible pattern. |

FisherD: Yes, Vincenza is a more brownish stone in its appearance. Santa Cecilia can be either a light cream color or almost gold. Try some other "Giallos". |

I am trying to select a granite color for our kitchen countertops, but I'm feeling overwhelmed by the choices. Also, when I see the photos of the same granite, they look different in different kitchens. Some look light, some look dark. I have dark cherry cabinets. I am replacing the counter top, floor, back splash (with tile) and paint. I prefer the brown and beige colors with a splash of black. Do you have any suggestions? I originally liked Santa Cecilia, but after I saw it in your photo, it looks too light. Then I saw Giallo Vicenza and liked that. |
