Nancy: Mohave Cream looks similar to Santa Cecilia, any of these would look excellent, although the Kashmir White seems too plain.

I have KM Cabinets- biscotti with a coconut glaze, black appliances. The existing tile floor that has a peach tone to it. I don't want to accent the floor - and cannot go dark or large patterns. Kitchen is 13' x 10'. I've seen one stone "Mohave Cream" that has light background with touches of black and the tiniest bit of the peach(small pattern) Would Santa Cecelia or shiva kasmir white work?? other suggestions?

Robin: Try New Venetian Gold. Or Giallo Fiorito to contrast the cabinets more & tie in the black appliances.

Robin: Are you leaning towards a dark or light tone for the granite?

I have Maple cabinets, black appliances, bright yellow wals and ceramic tile that has a clay swirl color. What color countertops do you believe would be a good choice?

Denise: I think that a lot would depend on the maple itself. If it's natural (light) there may be some issues with it blending in with the stone. Stain in a few shades darker and then add the glaze.

If I want a countertop similar to this one...would whiskey black glaze or coffee glaze maple cabinets look better?
