K K : I would go with the Giallo. Juparana bronze, has a bit too much pink in it and joined with the floor, it might overwhelm the kitchen.

richie: Yes, you can mix. You could try a 1/4" bevel on the perimeter and a 1/2" bevel on the island.

We are ordering the crema bordeaux. Our kitchen will be contemporary. What edge would you recommend? We were thinking straight but we are doing a long counter and a large island. Will the straight be uncomfortable on the island? Can we mix edges between the main counter and the island? Thanks. RD
