Can you put 2 different granites in the same kitchen, one on island, rest on cabinets? How about the peackock & golden Beach? |

Arlene: Unfortunately, we do not have a picture of finished Giallo Fantasia kitchen countertop in our gallery. What I can say is that Fantasia is a darker and more brownish/gold. Golden Beach is lighter. Make sure to put a wood sample next to both stones when making your final decision. |

Is this Golden Beach similar to Giallo Fantasia? I am putting the GF in a kitchen with Sable cabinets by Merilatt and am concerned about the amount of Gold in the Granite. And possibly thinking the color of the cabinets may be to light. Do you have a pic like above of the Giallo Fantasia? |

Meg: Not necessarily. Golden Beach has dark and light veins but it depends on how dark your maple cabinets are. If they're natural maple then it will look fine. It would look better if they would have a darker stain. |

Also - stainless appliances and oak hardwood floor |

I have natural maple cabinents and a black distressed island. Do you think Golden Beach will look too washed out against the maple cabinents? I imagine it would look great against the black island. |

Marlene: Either Golden Beach or Golden Vyara. They both have very nice movement. |

Which stone would you go better with Natural Oak cabinets and light cream floor: Golden beach, Millenium cream, Kashmier gold or Golden Vyara? |

K MIREAULT: I really don't see much of a choice there. Maybe some black with blue accents? |

I have blue pearl counter top with white cupboards. Other then white, blueish, or greay what color of ceramic tile could I go with? I don't want a light color because the door we use is right off the kitchen so it is high traffic and country living. 2 kids and a dog too much dirt!!! |

I have white painted cabinets with black granite counter tops and a cherry island. I want the island to be the show stoper, what would you suggest for the island top? |

I have golden oak cabinets with lots of grain, similar to those in Image 44. Would golden beach work.. or would it be too much gold / too much grain/movement? |
|
All Granite and Marble - Moderator | Date: 2007-02-01 10:10:58 |
The island would look just stunning. The rest of the kitchen however won't have much contrast. |

would golden beach work with vanilla cabinets and a distressed black island? |
|

As long as it doesn't blend in with the cabinets, it will be ok. |
