William Dortch: Unfortunately we only have information on the granite used in this picture. We just installed the countertop, and do not deal with cabinets. |

Gentlemen, I am a woodworker and I have a customer here in South Alabama that I need some information from you if I might. On the seaweed green picture #7, I nee to know who the cabinets are by so that I can ask if the shown hood is a buy it type or what as my customer wants me to get close to it if possible. If I can purchase it then by all means I need to know pricing for my bid. Also, this is a great web layout and I am very impressed with it. We have a very good Granite and Marble dealer in Cantonment Florida where I get mine that does a Great Job. I Thank you in advance for any information you might have on this, Regards, William. |

Terri: That's always an option, but finding tile in the same exact hue of Uba Tuba will be a challenge. I would suggest going with a neutral color. |

I have light Mapble cabinets, & white oak floors. My house is open w/lots of light. I have uba tuba w/backsplash & SS. Now I need to install tile on the back wall. W/the black backsplash, I think I need to use uba tuba tile squares on the wall. I've searched for other options, but I haven't found anything. Do you have any advice? |

Kathy: Full backsplash would make this kitchen extremely dark and gloomy. You certainly could do it just for the sleek look, but also note that dark colors work a bit like mirrors. I figure that a vertical wall of granite in this color would be odd looking. |

Do you think extending the marble to the backsplash in this kitchen would make it too dark? Also, instead of stainless, would say an electric stove in black look alright? They\'re much easier to clean than those burners. |

Ed:
It's similar to Uba Tuba not exactly the same though. In Uba Tuba family there is a wide array of stones. Peacock Green, Verde Paveio, Pocono Green, Seaweed Green. They are all similar to Uba Tuba. The difference is in size of the grain, color shade, contrast and structure of the grain. It's hard to determine all those subtle differences judging only by the photographs but we checked our records and it's definately Seaweed Green :) |

It looks like Ubatuba for me.
I'm almost 100% sure that this is Ubatuba. |
