shelley: Perhaps the same wood with a darker stain would fit along with a semi-dark granite in a warm color. |

Kathy : Natural will be nice or maybe some sort of a yellowish stain. Definitely stay away from reddish stains. |

I have natural oak cabinets, i don't know what type of hardwood would look best (don't want too much of the same woods) and what granite will compliment it? |

What color of Maple Cabinets would go best with the Verde Butterfly. I have chosen that granite but now am looking to replace our older cabinets. |

Cora: Ok. Medium to light cabinets (maple, oak, birch, walnut) would be ok. Just not too light. For the tops I'd go with a warm brown/gold with some black in it. Check out the Giallo family. |

Cheryl: Picking the right countertop color for red or reddish cabinets is probably one of the harder tasks. Could you please provide the wall colors? |

My cabinets are Maple Butterscotch. Tile is light travertine. Any recommendations on the countertops. Prefer a contrasting color that would be couple of shades darker than my cabinets. pls advise |

Nicole: There is variety of options. That depends on how big the kitchen is and what other colors you are planning to use.If you like green and darker colors you may go with something like Italian Paveio which has white spots to complement the appliances. |

Not to brag, but our granites come with a 15 year warranty. Also, kitchen countertops that we install are ALWAYS 3cm thick (1 1/4"). |

From what I understand the verde Butterfly and the Verde peacock is the same color but it is from differant companies. I just ordered my verde peacock from dupont and it comes w/a 10 year warranty whereas the other company only offered 2cm w/a 2 year warranty |

To be truthful, I haven't really seen that happen yet. If it does fade, I think the time needed would be in 10's of years. |

I've also read that peacock and butterfly patterns will become less vivid over time (darken) from effects of UV rays. Is this true? For instance, countertop will show where appliances have been sitting. |

All stones are porous to a certain degree. This particular one is very good in that regard but should still be resealed every 2 years or so. |
|

I've heard that verde peacock is non-porous and that it should not be sealed. Any advice or opinion on this? |

Paveio is definately the busier one. Seaweed Green has similar colors, but overall is warmer in tone and the pattern is finer. As for the recommendation - hard to say without any reference. |

What is the difference between Sea Weed Green and Verde Butterfly (Paveio)? Is one busier then the other and which one would you suggest? |
