Caseylu, I think the best way for you to pick "The One" is to just obtain a sample of each choice and put them all next to each other in your kitchen close to your cabinets. Then, use a process of elimination and take away the ones you least enjoy until you're left with only one sample. That should be your countertop decision. Personally, you can't go wrong with Ouro Brasil or Santa Cecilia Real, either of these colors is a great option for your set-up.
derek, i tried and tried to be creative...and find something different and darker to go with my cabinets..but i think you are right....light and warmer works best.....but i get confused with the similar looking granites but with different names.....i do not want a real gold granite.....my choices seem to be new venetian gold, santa cecelia (real, light or ???) and maybe giallo napoleone.... as for the time limit....my new cabinets have been in my living room since may.....so i need to nip this in the bud asap.....ha.....thank you for bearing with me, derek.... These options you're considering have overall similarities in color tone and pattern. This means that you've narrowed down your vision and know what you like. Out of those three choices, I'm leaning toward Ouro Brasil. It's similar to the Santa Cecilia, but has darker browns as opposed to the warm and creamy tones of the Cecilia's. When do you have to make your final decision?[/QUOTE]

Perhaps our virtual inventory database has not been updated yet to reflect the sold out status of Santa Cecilia Real. Which location told you it was sold out? I'll look into this ASAP. However, it is true that this granite is ever popular in our yards and customers truly seem to love the warmth of this particular stone. FYI, If just one of our NJ locations carries the stone, it can be fabricated at that location and transferred to the other (if the installation site is closer to our other location) and installed from there, that's not a problem for us. Hope that makes sense.
