    Fabricating a table

Is it possible to make a piece of marble that can fit on a table? I had this table for about 10 years and one of my children cracked it in half (he was jumping up and down on it like a kangaroo). I wanted to replace the broken stone with a new, lighter marble like calacatta. Can this be done?

    MaryBeth,

Absolutely! We can fabricate a marble table top to the exact measurements that you require. The table support must be in-place and ready, as we do not generally fabricate marble legs for the table. For an estimate on how much a marble table top from us would cost you, please send over the measurement you require to sales@marble.com

We have many slabs of Calacatta Gold, Calacatta Oro, and Calacatta Extra marble in-stock so you're more than welcome to visit one of our locations to look at the full slabs and bring free samples home with you! I suggest to visit our Ridgefield Park, NJ location as they are the facility with a well stocked supply of some very beautiful Calacatta marble.

Wow, thats great news. I just sent them the measurements for a price quote.

I was also wondering if your company can refurbish or somehow fix a damaged piece of granite i have for my countertop. Another one of the kids managed to chip a piece off the surface. Does your company perform repairs like that?

    MaryBeth,

Sounds good. We will get back to you with an estimate within 1-2 business days. I found a picture of a Carrara marble table that we fabricated, although it's a small table, you can visually get an idea of the quality of our work.

As for restoration & repair of granite, we can only repair the countertop if it was installed by us. We would schedule a service call.

However, we offer a Chip Repair Kit for online purchase on the portal MrStone.com . It's very easy to use and much cheaper than having a worker come to your house to perform the repair. On the product page, there is even a video that is an in-depth usage guide. If you decide to try the Chip Repair Kit and have any specific order or usage questions on the product, you can contact a MrStone representative at 201-298-2120.

Well, i got the chip repair kit in and attempted to fix the chip by myself over the weekend. It was simple enough with the tutorial video on MrStone.com to instruct me, i didn't even need my husbands help.

The verdict? It worked! The chip is gone and not even noticable, its incredible. Thanks again for your help, probably saved me tons of money.

    MaryBeth,

That's wonderful news! Now that your chip is fixed, you can keep your kitchen countertop looking beautiful by using our Daily Granite Cleaner. Just a suggestion, as I use it myself on my counters and they look as good as new. In addition, I'd like to remind that granite needs to be sealed periodically to stay stain resistant. I recommend to reseal the stone every 1-2 years. If you have not resealed in a long time, perhaps you may be interested in looking into a strong granite countertop sealer. Best of luck.
