I love gold toned granite, and light maple or honey maple cabs.

    Like carter gold.

Is this a good combination. Appliances stainless steel. Rust/light brown color ceramaic floor. Medium size kitchen.

we want to create an overall light feel.

Not dark or dramatic. But with character!!
We also like whites for granite, golds, yellows. some grays, light browns, tan creams are ok too
Like granite with movement and long linear patters, not splochy!!
Only considering maple honey or maple natural light wood color for cabs
    Walls are yellow though!!

I cannot find a photo of the granite you were referring to, the Carter Gold. Would you be able to attach a photo for our review?

For some wonderful granite options for your setup, check out Ambrosia Gold, Atlantis, Colonial Gold and Golden Riviera.

Let me know what you think so far!

How is Atlantis and natural wood color cabs together.

Thank you for your reply, Kinga.
We're using granite as back splash as well. Our ceiling is redwood. Any suggestions for the flooring?

Atlantis is most similar to Persa gold that we are looking at right now.

I DON'T KNOW IF THIS LINK WILL HELP.

My recommendation is Solarius. It's similar to Persa Gold and Atlantis, while providing a rich feel with it's amber veins and light background. I have this stone on my desk in the office and it's very durable (impervious to stains when sealed) and has a smooth, glass-like finish. You can watch a video of Solarius in-action in our marketing office.

Would you please recommend something for the floor in ceramic or travertine. Still want to create and lighter looking kitchen. Love light on light!!

    Eichler,

I'd use a darker shade of the tile to present some contrast to your warm design. Perhaps the "Noce" or "Penny" porcelain tile from Daltile would be appropriate. You're on the right track & make sure to take pictures once the remodel is completed and upload them here for everyone to see!
