Help with granite colors
I have American WoodmarkCharlottsville Maple Auburn Glaze Cabinets. I have a small kitchen and want to brighten it up with the counter top. Could you give me some suggestions.
I have seen some photos that I like, but can't seem to match up the photos with any granite that I've seen. In the photo I have the granite is called Roman Gold Granite and it has mainly a white background with more of a lemon yellow color along with black and gray. I like the yellow and the gold, mainly the yellow.
If you could give me any suggestions that are bright and bold. I didn't want to go with a granite that seemed like the colors were muted....something that might have movement as well

Hi
You do have a number of options. However do you know the floor finish and what the back splash will be? These elements will have a bearing on the counter top choice. One granite I think that could look good is the Romano Delicatus. It is light and does have a striking grain to it. You will need to look at the slab before your final selection to make sure the color works for you. If you would like to give me the floor and back splash materials and finish I will be happy to put forward some other ideas.
All the best.

Thank you. I was looking through your granite photos and did pick that one out as a possibility. The floor tile I've been looking at is Porcelana DiRocca Timeless Crema Marfil. It has tones of grey and gold.
As far as a back splash I saw a photo of a kitchen back splash that I liked that was Tumbled Jerusalem Gold 4x4 yellow limestone. In that same kitchen they had a granite counter top that they called Roman Gold Granite. I haven't been able to find a granite called that or that really looked like it. It seemed to be as I said before a background of white with more yellow than gold in it and black and grey.

Hi Lucia
I can't see that granite either (Roman Gold). From the tiles you have viewed I think the Atlantis 520 could look good or Canela Bouquet. You will need to put the materials together to make sure they work as you can only go so far on line. I hope this is helpful and do let me know how you get on with the project.

When doing an online search for Roman Gold, various different colors are shown, so it's hard to pin point which specific stone you're talking about. We do not have a stone in-stock called "Roman Gold" but it might be called something else with us as many companies give granite their own name, so it can get quite confusing. My recommendations for you are Sunset Ivory or for a richer pattern you can try Typhoon Gold.
