    Reception Desk Granite

I have a question regarding color of granite for maple cabinetry with mahogany red stain. The walls are naples yellow. What I want are earth tones with bright emerald splotches but haven't found anything like that. I saw Uba Tuba and that seems like a nice color and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Thanks.

I'll give you a few suggestions to consider. Take a look at Emerald Pearl, Blue Pearl SP, and Golden Jade. I've attached a Comparison Chart for you to easily see the options:

    Hope this helps!

    What is this granite?

I looked at your work examples for the Butterfly granite and I saw something a granite in picture 4 of 9 (pic 393). I went to lowes to see if I can see it in person and the granite they have in display doesn't look anything like that particular granite. Is that a different granite or is it just a different quality of the same granite?

There are indeed multiple versions of Butterfly granite and you might of been looking at a different variation at Lowe's. For example, some companies have it called Verde Butterfly or Butterfly Verde ect. We also have different variations of stones in the Butterfly family and they are all overall similar such as Butterfly Green and Butterfly Antique. Our Butterfly Green is the lightest shade of Green, while our standard Butterfly is a little darker, and the Butterfly Antique is even a little darker with pronounced golden specks. I cannot really comment on the stone selections at Lowe's as I am not familiar with them. These granite's are all the same premium quality and some from the same quarry, it's just the nature of natural stone: that it contains variations and differences that can be unique enough to label the stone a different extension or name.
