    Outdoors

I am interested in a patio tabletop for use outdoors. Is this material suitable for that use?

    Jim,

Engineered stone such as quartz is generally is acceptable to be used in an outdoor setting. I'll give you an example of information coming from the Caesarstone manufacturer's website, which is a quartz that we have in-stock, about outdoor usage:

"While some customers have opted to install Caesarstone in outdoor applications - this use is not covered by our Lifetime Warranty. Caesarstone has not been tested in prolonged UV ray exposure settings."

    Outdoor Use

I see that the manufacturer does not warrant this material for outdoor use. Are there other materials better suited that would be waranteed? If so, please suggest some.

    Jim,

Granite can be used in an outdoor setting, after all, granite is natural stone quarried from the earth! Mountains and such. However, not all granite can be used outdoors. Please check with the sales office on any particular granite of your interest to see if that particular choice is safe to be used in an outdoor application.
