Red face Wall color for multiple blues and white

    Derek,

Need help... I have pearl blue granite countertop, white cabinets, white bathtub (willing to change),White floor tile with gray grount, Affreschi Zaffiro Tile around the white tub. Can you please recommend a color for the walls, and cabinets and possibly a new tub color. At this time we are trying to leave the tub alone.

    Thanks so much...

I'll start off by saying that the cabinets look stunning as a stark white color against a Blue Pearl counter. The other direction you can go in for the cabinets is a dark color such as an espresso shade. In regard to the wall color for the bathroom, a relaxing, inviting, and beachy feel should be created in my opinion. For help in achieving this goal, my recommendations are Benjamin Moore line Opal Essence or for something a little darker try Quiet Moments. These are blue-gray shades that help enhance a tranquil atmosphere in the bathroom. Good luck!

    Derek,

Thank you so much for your recommendations. I will check into the espresso shade for the cabinets and the BM. paints. I did this awhile ago and used petite bronze patina tiles in my kitchen and was thinking about using them on the shower walls with the Affreschi Zaffiro wall tile. What do you think? Or I can go with the mosiac Affreschi Zaffiro although I did not realize each tile was large. Either way what would you recommend for design.

I need to add that this is our son's bathroom (teenager) and also the guest bathroom.

    Thanks again.

I am not familiar with what petite bronze patina tiles look like, do you have a picture that you could upload or provide me with a website link to one?

    Derek,

    http://www.bronzeworkstudio.com/

The first one is the main page and the second gives you ideas.

I have to remember that this our son's bathroom and also guest bathroom. I want to have the Ohhhh, Ahhhh effect. I plan on taking all the wallpaper down (coming back) and having the wall textured with the look of Tuscon (very light Tuscon, or that's what I call it) or Crow's feet (probably out dated, other parts of the house have it). The wall is 6'3" x 8" on vanity wall and wall behind it. A lot of space to work with and I don't think I am interested in a flat wall. The paint will definately be Benjamin Moore (East Coast Girl) either one of your suggestion or two tone from the same family. They put on the paint and wipe parts of it off and then add the second layer and to the same thing. Pretty cool

The mosiac tile that I mention for the bathroom is below. I can either put it with the diamond look and little patina designs or leave them out. Now our son wants Skylights Mantage Grey (little glass square, black, blue, grey) but I think it would be hard to keep clean and not get scratched.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

    Thanks a great deal

The Affreschi Zaffiro wall tile is an excellent choice with it's neutral, soft warmth. Seems like you're on the right track and have everything properly researched. For the mosaic floor tile, I feel that you could perhaps leave out the leaf accent designs at the intersection of the tile but keep the design shape of the tiles. You do not want the floor to be too busy when you have a stunning countertop such as Blue Pearl granite.

Smile wall color for multiple blue and white

    Derek,

I may have not made myself clear. The bathroom area has a white tub and the surround is the Affreschi Zaffiro wall tile. My concern was either use the Mosiac Affresci Zaffiro on the bathroom wall area either as squares going across or in the diamond shape or those tiny patina tiles in the mosiac affreschi zaffiro. When you look at the web it does not come up with the color I like so you look at the bottom and change the color. My floors are white with grey grout in the bathroom and the vanity area. The vanity area countertop is blue pearl with white cabinets or your suggestion of espresso shade. My walls with either be the one of the two blues you suggest or the two tone tuscon look.. Will that be to busy? The wall is 6'3" x 8'.

    Thanks for your help.
