    Smile Backsplash ideas

Hello! I am building a new construction. My kitchen is open concept great room attached to living room. I plan on having a medium oak floor with the darker grain complimenting a terrain hickory cabinet. I am planning on a santa cecelia gold light granite. I am unsure of the backsplash. I love the glass mosaic in the light and tan family, however I do not want it to appear too busy. I really do like the punch of color the glass mosaic can provide though. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Can you snap a photo of the glass mosaic you're currently considering so I can visualize the design better and give you an honest opinion? In my mind, a glass mosaic such as the Mirabelle Collection smoky brown glass tile in a brick pattern would be very appropriate. I've attached a photo for your reference.

Smile still stuck on backsplash ideas / granite

Hello! Thank you so much for your help. The tile looks great. However, our builder's tile guy is very particular in the brand of tile he uses. I will get to see his samples soon. Do you think a ceramic would be a better fit or do you favor the glass tiles with the santa cecelia light granite? Thank you so much for your help.

Either material is appropriate and suitable. Maintenance level comes into consideration and of course how the two look together. I recommend to acquire the samples of both materials as fast as possible so you can put the backsplash choices next to the Cecilia countertop in the kitchen light and visualize how they look together! You can use the process of elimination from there to make your final decision.
