Each shipment of stone is unique and can have color tone and pattern variation. That is why you must look at the full slabs in-person yourself to make sure you find the exact look you're attracted to.

Do you know of a granite that has has copper in it instead of iron? I saw one in a K&B store that they called Mascarello, but the ones I'm seeing on line don't have the flowing metallic copper through it.

  • Marble.com - Kinga 07:58PM, Dec 20 2011 You’re very welcome! For pricing, please email Gemstone@marble.com with the measurements your project requires.
  • Drdlbauer 06:03PM, Dec 20 2011 Thanks for the reply!  Do you know the price per sq foot for this?
  • Marble.com - Kinga 02:41PM, Dec 20 2011 You can definitely use this as a backsplash. This will be a very elegant and dramatic choice; however, it is quite expensive. If you do decide to use this, I would recommend Absolute Black granite for the countertop.
  • Drdlbauer 01:25AM, Dec 20 2011 Could you use this tiger iron as a backsplash?  I have off white cabinets and would probably use a darker granite countertop (haven't decided on my granite color yet).  Suggestions welcome!
I want a very elegant and dramatic backsplash-would this be too much?  Thanks!
