This is because blue is very rare in natural stone, and therefore expensive. While glass is an engineered stone, this is still a premium material. By the way, this stone is very durable and will hold up in a bathroom application nicely.
Clare 02:04AM, Aug 17 2011 your glass gallery shows a deep blue. How durable is this glass for a bathroom countertop? I am looking for a blue countertop for our bathroom, and have a low budget. I checked through everything and you have blue in everything, but of all your different types of material, which is the most reasonable? The countertop we need is 110" by 26". I have gotten estimates from other places and they want to charge me for a minimum of 30 Sq ft which is way more than I need. Can I get some estimates?
