Hi, I really love your idea about the kitchen. Regarding to the countertop it all depends if you prefer to have a veins or more consistente colours. You have choosed two different types Ubatuba and Butterfly which are consistent however Ambrosia Gold and Verde Matisse are veiny. I'm thinking that if you have already calm and white kitchen with a lot of light the countertops with veins will give you a distinct character but not too busy, so I would go with Verde Matisse. I hope I could help you !
I'm redoing the kitchen counter tops. The kitchen is open 14' x 20' including the kitchen table (in front of patio door area). The cabinets are light colored maple, the appliances are white, with a drop in white sink and faucet. The floor is a whiteish/cream ceramic 12" sq tile. The walls divided by a 1/2 wall from the adjacent family room are a grayish green. I'm considering the Ambrosia Gold for the counter tops. Alternatively, I'm also considering Uba Tuba, Giallo Vicenza, butterfly, and Verde Matisse. I need 50.25 sq ft, and I would like a less ordinnary edge (but price may make that less important).
Do you think any of these choices are better than the others?- Reiz
Follow this link:
http://www.marble.com/material... and then you have to add backspace ( / ) then the stone IDs with each one followed by a comma that you want to compare.
How do I get the comparison tool that appears in Kinga's link?
1. What is the best stone and accent inserts for backsplash?
2. What neutral wall color in kitchen, dining and livingroom will tie it all together?
3. What carpet color in living and dining area will tie it all together?
http://www.marble.com/material... Some other recommendations for you to consider are Giallo Napole, and Toffee. For the backsplash, I recommend a tumbled travertine such as Oyster Mix Flamed mosaic:

Thank you.
