  • Marble.com - Derek 12:33PM, Jul 27 2011 Some options to consider from me would be Cosmic Black and Kosmus. How do you feel about our suggestions? Is that too dark? I think these choices would look lovely in your design.
  • Marble.com - Kinga 01:47PM, Jul 26 2011 The Black Diamond would look great in your space as would the Blue Night, Blue Pearl SP and Metallic.  A dark countertop against white cabinets is a bold choice as it’s a dramatic statement many spaces try to achieve. I think you’re heading in the right direction! Let me know what you end up picking!
  • Ellen 12:37AM, Jul 26 2011 I'm getty shiny white cabinets from Ikea and wall cabinets will be frosted glass. I think I'd like a contrast w/countertop to go something dark grey. Is this a good choice? Do you recommend any others?
  • Susan 12:00PM, Feb 18 2010 Butler Pantry White, not stark but with some gray undertones, with glass fronts on many of the cabinets going all the way to the ceiling. Now that I am playing on your web page, I have also looked at Valley White. Is that also "marble looking" like White Fantasy?? Thank you again and enjoy your day..
    • All Granite and Marble 01:44PM, Feb 18 2010 Susan: White Fantasy looks much more like real marble over Valley White, which has alot of garnet flecks.
  • Susan 09:46AM, Feb 18 2010 I am looking at black diamond as my perimeter counter tops and white fantasy as my islands. I want clean lines with the focus on cooking..As idea as to a marble that I could inset into the counters for baking that would compliment the white fantasy? Our flooring will be salvaged warm honey wood and the cabinets from Christopher Peacock (I know he only recommends marble but am afraid of the upkeep)..Thankyou and enjoy your day
    • All Granite and Marble 11:53AM, Feb 18 2010 Susan: White fantasy is an excellent substitute for white marble. What color will your cabinets be?
  • Danielle 12:36PM, Dec 26 2009 Would black Diamond go well with Antique White cabinets and a creme back splash. I have a dark choco island also. Should it have the same Black Diamond counter or should I go with it's counter part being white with dark veins and what would you have in mind. I have lots of natural light. Thank you
    • All Granite and Marble 11:25AM, Dec 28 2009 Danielle: Hmm...Black Diamond and white cabinets is good, for the island perhaps Bianco Romano.
  • lisa 07:13AM, Dec 26 2009 do you think this will go with amaretto creme cabinets with brown glaze with a light beige floor?
    • All Granite and Marble 11:16AM, Dec 28 2009 lisa: It should look great. Plenty of contrast while the slight lighter veining compliments the cabinets and floor.
  • roxanne 12:04PM, Jul 20 2009 Is this the same as black forest that I've seen else where? Does it come from Brazil?
    • All Granite and Marble 12:11PM, Jul 20 2009 roxanne: Yes, it is the same thing. Country of origin is Brazil.
  • diane 04:17PM, Jun 30 2009 Do you think this black diamond granite and white fantasy would look good together w/one on an island and one around the perimeter? I am concerned about keeping black looking clean,so I thought a black with some veining or speckling would be needed but I am not sure if it is "too much" with the veining in the white fantasy. Let me know! Thanks, Diane
    • All Granite and Marble 03:43PM, Jul 2 2009 diane: I think the veining is what would tie the two stones together, as there is almost no tie color wise.
