I have oak cabinets and I chose the verde butterfly for my granite. The floors for a brownish ceramic tile and I'm having a hard time choosing the backsplash. Any suggestions?

Rachel: I suggest to use a tumbled noce travertine tile.

I have white cabinets with golden hardwood flooring. The walls are spanish red around the cabinetry and goldish tan around eating area. what color granite countertops would you recommend?
All Granite and Marble - MODERATOR at 08:58AM, Jul 5 2010.
MareH: Try Santa Cecilia or New Venetian Gold.

We have off-white cabinets, black appliances, and are putting in butterfly green granite. What would you suggest for the backsplash and floor? We have heard gold would look good...any other suggestions?

Guest: For the backsplash you may go into a sleek and elegant style with a simple, light subway tile. For the flooring, a travertine tile would look excellent with this set-up.

I have white cabinets with oak hardwood floors. Kitchen is open to the family room which has the same hardwood floors. I am leaning towards butterfly granite for the countertops. However, I am having hard time with backsplash color and paint color (closed soffet) above the cabinets. Can you suggest options? Thanks
All Granite and Marble - MODERATOR at 04:07PM, Apr 26 2010.
Sue: For backsplash try a tumbled noce travertine tile. And Benjamin Moore "Honeyed Almond" for paint.

We have 2 different colors of cabinets: ash and crimson red (sort of like this website) from Diamond. We also have ash floors. What color granite would suggest to tie the whole thing together.
All Granite and Marble - MODERATOR at 12:22PM, Feb 12 2010.
Ted: Are you leaning towards a light or dark color so far?
