  • Marble.com - Derek 02:09PM, Jan 5 2012 Since you wrote this question in a darker stones page (Imperial Coffee), I will assume you've been leaning toward a darker color. If you have a large kitchen space with plenty of natural light, then you can get away with using a darker shade in my opinion, if that's what you are attracted to. In contrast to Kinga's lighter suggestions, some darker colors that I recommend for you to look at are Tan Brown, Butterfly Antique, Golden Jade, Verde Sequoia, Baltic Brown, and Tropical Brown. Good luck!
  • Marble.com - Kinga 08:59PM, Jan 3 2012 I would recommend using a lighter stone to brighten up the space like Astoria, Atlantis and Gold Antique. Each of these stones would complement your Terracotta tiles without overwhelming the space. It is very important to bring samples home to compare against your cabinets and flooring to help you narrow down some choices. Stones may vary in person so having a sample of your floor at the granite yard will make your decision so much easier. Hope this helps!

  • Sandy 12:39PM, Nov 4 2010 I have ginger colored cabinets with the baltic brown grantice counter, we are adding an island to our kitchen and we are doing a vintage onxy color cabinet and wanted to do a contracting grantic top. Our floors are a beigey with a hint of pinkish color. What would you suggest as a contrasting granite color for the island
    • All Granite and Marble 09:32AM, Nov 5 2010 Sandy: What color is your island wood going to be?
  • Jo Anna 12:41PM, Jan 1 2010 What color granite would go well with amaretto and moss colored cabinets,I would like to use two different colors of granite that compliment each other.
    • All Granite and Marble 10:00AM, Jan 4 2010 Jo Anna: What type of wood are your cabinets? I'm not sure what color you are describing. You could send a picture to derek@marble.com

  • Linda 08:14PM, Jun 2 2009 With the natural oak floor and honey oak cabinets does the Coffee Brown have too much of a reddish brown color in it?
  • Linda 08:12PM, Jun 2 2009 We have natural oak wood floors, honey oak cabinets which a shade darker than the floor and slainless appliances. Trying to decide between Coffee Brown, Brazilian Black, or Tropical Brown. What do you think?
    • All Granite and Marble 04:56PM, Jun 3 2009 Linda: Coffee brown should give you good contrast and not blend in.
