  • Helen 06:13PM, Feb 6 2012 We are going to the Ridgefield Park location on wednesday.  Just wondering if you have Desert River there?  We also like yellow river.
  • Sherry Russell 02:15AM, Feb 5 2012 I live in IL. Where can i go to get this granite.[ Desert River.  Sherry
  • Marble.com - Derek 02:47PM, Jan 11 2012 Plenty of granite is similar in color tone and pattern as is the case with all natural stone, so it's still a very good idea to visit our location in-person to look at the full slabs and you will be able to bring free samples home with you. I'm sure you will find something that attracts you. My recommendations are Amazon Tiger, Brown Alpine, Hurricane, and Jacaranda Wood. Good luck!
  • Marble.com - Kinga 08:46PM, Jan 9 2012 Unfortunately, it looks like we sold out of this stone. Is there any other granite that caught your eye?
  • Ikoli 08:13PM, Jan 9 2012 Hi , does the stroudsburg location have this stone available and if so would this look nice with pine cabinets, bamboo wood floors?
  • Marble.com - Derek 01:04PM, Sep 22 2011 Unfortunately we're out of Desert River at this time. Perhaps you would like to visit our Ridgefield Park facility and look at full slabs of similar colors such as 'Golden Noir' that we have available?
  • Kevin 03:54AM, Sep 22 2011 Hi, I live in NJ (Morris County),  Is this available in NY, NJ, or PA (preferably NJ)?
  • Marble.com - Kinga 04:04PM, Sep 19 2011 Please note we do not service North Carolina. However, you may fill out our online estimate request and a fabricator from your area will contact you. http://www.marble.com/estimate
  • Wayne 03:25PM, Sep 19 2011 I live near Greenville, NC, so Stroudsburg would be the closest.
    Wayne
  • Marble.com - Kinga 01:28PM, Sep 19 2011 Which location are you referring to?
  • Wayne 04:20PM, Sep 18 2011 Is the Desert River available?  If not, when?
  • Marble.com - Derek 01:54PM, Jul 19 2011 We're actually out of stock on the Desert River at this moment.
  • Marble.com - Kinga 02:15PM, Jul 18 2011 Unfortunately, the Stroudsburg location does not carry this stone.
  • Chris 01:33AM, Jul 17 2011 Does the Stroudsburg store carry this granite?
  • Cyndi 06:36PM, Apr 12 2011 I have natural maple cabinets and natural oak floors how would this granite look in my kitchen? Would the color over power it? or accent it?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:03AM, Apr 13 2011 Cyndi: The Desert River has a rich and powerful pattern that would make the stone a centerpiece of your design. If it's not too busy for your personal taste, then I say go for it. I don't think it would overpower the cabinets.
  • samb 09:32PM, Jan 26 2011 I have autumn maple cabinets and cherry wood floor. Would this be a good choice of granite? i also like hurricane. What type of backsplash would you suggest?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:11AM, Jan 28 2011 Samb: I see you enjoy granite with rich movement and pattern. That's wonderful, the Desert River and Hurricane both look like marvels that mother nature carved out for us. Both will look amazing against your cabinet color, so just pick the one that you like more! As for backsplash, you should tone it down and use a neutral, calm tile against your busy granite. A tumbled travertine would tie-in nicely in the set-up. Good luck!
  • inna 07:42PM, Jan 15 2011 i have cream glaze cabinets with gold moldings, what do you think about this kind of counter top
    • All Granite and Marble 09:33AM, Jan 17 2011 Inna: Gorgeous choice. The Desert River has a rich pattern that will compliment your creme cabinets nicely.
  • stacy 01:15PM, Sep 2 2010 I have no talent for interior design. Would this granite look good with oak cabinets or is that too monochromatic a look?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:34AM, Sep 3 2010 Stacy: It would look good. The rich movement in the stone offsets the cabinets nicely.
  • kathy 04:00PM, Jul 27 2010 Do you sell Desert River in tiles?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:33AM, Jul 28 2010 Kathy: Unfortunately we do not sell this in tile, we just specialize in the countertops.
  • Sherry 09:55AM, May 30 2010 Interested in Desert River. Trying to find out price per ft?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:57AM, Jun 1 2010 Sherry: For pricing please contact our sales office or use the Online Estimate Tool: www.marble.com/estimate
  • steven 08:56AM, Mar 9 2008 Does this allow for countertops with double bull nose or water fall? Thanks
    • All Granite and Marble 09:51AM, Mar 11 2008 steven: Yes it is allowed, but only on straight runs, not on arches or bump-outs.
  • Ashley Hicks 02:08PM, Feb 29 2008 We have this desert river countertops in our home and trying to find a backsplash to go with it. Any suggestion?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:48AM, Mar 3 2008 Ashley Hicks: Are we talking about tile or full granite backsplash?
  • Diane 04:15PM, Jan 23 2008 Thank you for your advise. Now, is there a dark granite -with some variation so streaks/crumbs do not show that I could pair with this granite. I thought this granite for our large island and a more subtle for the counter. Floor is cream tiles, cabines will be cherry, stainless steel stove and some copper accents in the kitchen.
    • All Granite and Marble 09:33AM, Jan 30 2008 Diane: Unfortunately, adding another color of granite to the kitchen will be very difficult. It would have to be a solid color, like black. Otherwise, it will look like the two tops are competing against each other.
  • Diane 06:15PM, Jan 22 2008 How would it look with med. cherry?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:14AM, Jan 23 2008 Diane: Golds will be fine.
  • Daniela 11:07PM, Nov 26 2007 Hi all, I just ordered maple cabinets with amber stain and chocolate glaze. What color granite would you recomend? the kitchen is small with an island (3'x5')and a lot of natural light. Please advise. Thank you.
    • All Granite and Marble 10:47AM, Nov 27 2007 Daniela: Well, you're looking at a fabulous stone here. Just make sure it's not too busy for you!
