  • Ilise 06:25PM, Oct 8 2010 I am investigating granite for countertops. My cabinets are oak and I have neutral flooring. My walls are painted variations of sage green. I was initally looking at a dark green granite but am worried that it may be too overpowering. I like this Golden Beach very much. I have a countertop and a nice size island with plenty of light. It is a very open floor plan. Do you think this Golden Beach will work for me???
    • All Granite and Marble 10:45AM, Oct 11 2010 Ilise: The Golden Beach EX is an excellent choice for your set-up. Some other attractive suggestions are: Kashmir Gold and Madura Gold.
  • Rebecca Spradlin 04:25PM, Jul 18 2010 My cabinets are a med dark oak cabinet with lighter oak flooring. My appliances are back. At the end of the kitchen I have two large windows for lighting but the kitchen is like 30' deep and 18' wide. Will this one, Golden beach EX, Kashmier Gold or Juparna Golden Vyara be the best pick. Or maybe another suggestion.
    • All Granite and Marble 10:16AM, Jul 21 2010 Rebecca Spradlin: I'm leaning towards the Golden Beach. The rich veining and golden highlights will compliment the oak wood in your design.
  • joey 10:08PM, May 24 2010 my island is 78 by 102 can this be done with one slab in golden beach?
    • All Granite and Marble 08:31AM, May 25 2010 Joey: Our slabs are not wide enough, my database tells me the widest we have are 73" x 108".
  • Sue 11:42AM, May 16 2010 I'm having the hardest time picking out granite for my kitchen. I have natural cherry cabinets with black appliances in a dark kitchen. I've looked at many different slabs and realize I really like natural earth tones. So, I thought Sagebrush, Niagara Gold and White Spring would be good options, however, after looking at the slabs ...one had too much pink tones, the other was too red and on and on it goes. During one of these visits to look at slabs I found Golden Beach, which had the earth tones,(brown, black, gray and yellow), I like with some yellow/golden bursts. Do you think this will be too dark for my kitchen and would it be a good choice with natural cherry. I am planning on going with a light stone backsplash. If you think this is the wrong choice, please give me other possible choices. Again, I need to make a decision
    • All Granite and Marble 10:57AM, May 17 2010 Sue: Golden Beach is an excellent choice for your design! The golden tones will compliment the cherry in your cabinets and it has enough contrast to offset the dark tones in your kitchen.
  • Lynne 07:51PM, Mar 7 2010 I have been looking for a granite that a field bought last year without any luck. It is called Golden Fantacy. Do you carry it or have something very similar. The veins reminded me of beach sand.I have white cabinets and a cherry center island.
    • All Granite and Marble 12:59PM, Mar 8 2010 Lynne: We carry Golden Fantasy. Stone ID 179 & 180.
  • Tedi 09:42PM, Jan 10 2010 What do you think of this granite with cranberry color cabinets? Or Madura Gold? Other choice is to go with something totally different like Uba Tuba, but will that make it look too dark? Thanks!!
    • All Granite and Marble 11:24AM, Jan 11 2010 Tedi: These golden stones look beautiful with dark cherry-like cabinets. If you use Ubatuba however it may also look nice...a traditional look, but your kitchen has to be large with plenty of natural light.
  • Diane 07:29AM, Jul 9 2009 I found a pretty light-colored golden beach. I have ss appliances and white cabinets. Could I use a light-colored marble tile for the backsplash? If so, what color-white carrera or beige?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:07AM, Jul 13 2009 Diane: Yes light color tile as a backsplash would be a good choice for your back splash.
