I have chosen Golden King for my counter top. I will have a cherry cabinet on the walls and an offwhite island. Debating whether to have a tile backsplash...suggestions? husband likes subway tile

Sue: I would recommend a light subway tile in a brick pattern, it's a sleek and clean design choice.

Hi, I have Kraftmaid cherry wood cabinets in honey spice color. My kithen is a very small galley (9ftX11ft), and I have stainless steel appliances. I am redoing the floor & walls, so will match them to whatever counter I choose. I am thinking of Golden King. Would this work? I am afraid of getting countertops that are too dark for such a small space. I love the color of GK, but not sure if it is right for my cabinet color.

Michelle: I'd say it's too dark. Try Santa Cecilia or New Venetian Gold.

mary: Santa Cecilia and New Venetian Gold are popular, a little lighter.

what are other names for golden king? is it a popular stone? is it good with golden oak cabinets and foors with black appliances

rozzie: I'm not aware of any other names for this stone. It's a fine match for your set-up, but maybe going a little darker with something like Tropical Brown will be better.

Ilove Verde Itallia. What does it cost per sq. ft.?
