- All Granite and Marble 08:04AM, Apr 6 2011 Lisa Howerter: What you are describing is called "pitting" and is a common characteristic of natural stone. It's not a flaw in the stone and does not cause damage to the granite, so you have nothing to worry about! Hope this helps.
Kim and Fred 01:41PM, Jun 2 2010 I am looking for granite for a kitchen countertop. Cabinets are light maple and the floor is yellow pine. Would this work?
- All Granite and Marble 03:31PM, Jun 2 2010 Kim And Fred: It would fit nicely for a light and warm countertop, however there is not much contrast. Perhaps something a little darker? I would suggest Desert River or Golden Beach.
