  • All Granite and Marble 01:10PM, Jun 6 2011 The Impala Black is a nice choice, another option could be Ubatuba.
  • Efrain 11:44PM, Jun 3 2011 I'm remodeling my small kitchen. I was thinking of Impala Black because the cabinets are a dark mohagany color and the laminate is also a Bamboo - Pinot Noir color. All appliances are stainless as is the sink. Would this be a good color or should i go with something darker?? Thanks in advance.
  • Laine 08:47PM, Mar 24 2011 We purchased Maple Spice cabinets and desert slate baked earth flooring (Swiftlock) with black impala countertops, stainless steel appliances. . Your thoughts?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:00AM, Mar 29 2011 Laine: Sounds like you're on the right track. The dark countertop should look very sleek and elegant against your maple spice cabinetry.
  • L Blaschuk 06:41PM, Oct 10 2010 We purchased Impala Black countertops for our kitchen from Joseph Corcoran almost 20 years ago and have loved it ever since. You will be thrilled with this choice!!! The gray specks will reflect the stainless appliances - an added bonus.
  • Jeremy 02:23PM, Sep 9 2010 I am purchasing a house and am thinking of Impala Black with maple spice cabinets, Gunstock hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. Would this be a good match?
    • All Granite and Marble 08:52AM, Sep 10 2010 Jeremy: Absolutely.
  • Don Pollard 04:47PM, Jan 13 2010 I'd like to know if there's a difference between absolute black granite and black nero granite. Most suppliers in the DC area carry the absolute black, which has flecks of grey in the black stone. I remember seeing a black granite tile with sivlery, metallic flakes in a store in New York City. The salesman said it was black nero granite tile. I haven't found this tile in the DC area. Is there really a difference between the two?
    • All Granite and Marble 05:24PM, Jan 13 2010 Don Pollard: Different companies slap on their own name to a stone, it gets very confusing and your scenario is absolutely (no pun intended) possible. But Absolute Black is a standard granite name throughout the industry. I have not heard of Black Nego.
  • rose 06:08PM, Dec 3 2007 im looking for something with a little brown in it. i have natural maple cabinets should i stick with this or try something else.
    • All Granite and Marble 10:25AM, Dec 4 2007 rose: We're not aware of a Black/Brown stone with such a dense pattern.
