    Josi,

This would look fabulous, the cherry red burgundy streaks in the granite would complement your wood very nicely.

My fire place mantel is cherry wood. How would this look?

Hi there. Ivory Brown is a very beautiful, light and subtle granite choice. I think you can use a mosaic mix of stone and tiles for this set-up. For example, something like Anatolia Bliss Creme Brulee Glass & Stone Linear Blend. On the other hand, like our portfolio work example photos suggest, you can go with a very neutral tile and it's an elegant combination. Specifically, I have in-mind choices such as Bursa Beige Hexagon Pattern Marble or Merola Cobble Polar Ceramic Subway Tile. I've attached photos of all my suggestions for your easy reference. Best of luck!

Hello I have Ivory Brown granite counter top with golden oak cupboards and stainless steel appliances can you guide me to a backsplash. Thank you - Sal

Ivory Brown is very light, I recommend to look at the slabs in-person and acquire a sample to bring home with you to put against your cabinet in the kitchen light. I do not think this choice would be the best combination with an almost black sink however. I'm a firm believer in the classic and timeless stainless steel sink. A black sink would be elegant with a dark or warm brown/golden countertop in my opinion. Hope this helps.

I have maple cabinets with a pearl glaze, how do you think Ivory Brown will look?  My floor is a medium brown wood, I have stainless & black appliances.  Also, is there enough black or very dark grey in Ivory Brown to use a composite granite sink in Anthracite (almost black)? Thank you for any help or advise you can give me.

  • Marble.com - Derek 01:46PM, Sep 16 2011 I'd use a warm brownish shade of floor tile, for example Daltile 'Russet' colored field tile would fit nicely. As for backsplash decision, take a look at something such as 1" x 2" Azteca Blank Pinwheel Travertine tile. I've attached an image for your reference.
  • kristie 01:04AM, Sep 15 2011 I will also use maple cabinets with mocha glaze. Can you recommend a backsplash and floor tiles to go with those cabinets and ivory brown countertops?
  • peggy 01:25PM, Jul 14 2010 thanks for the input. What would you think of Ivory Chiffon? What is the difference in price groups?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:25AM, Jul 15 2010 Peggy: It's similar but perhaps a little too much pink tones. The price group for the Chiffon is Double Blue.
  • peggy 05:32PM, Jul 13 2010 how do you think this would go with maple cabinets with mocha glaze? any other suggestions? thanks
    • All Granite and Marble 10:10AM, Jul 14 2010 Peggy: Excellent! A similar option you might want to consider is Shivakashi Pink.
  • Peg 10:09AM, Mar 31 2010 What price group (single Blue, Double Blue etc) does Ivory Brown fallin?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:58AM, Mar 31 2010 Peg: Single Silver.
  • Beth 12:30PM, Aug 11 2009 Is this the same stone as Arctic Ivory?
    • All Granite and Marble 01:48PM, Aug 11 2009 Beth: From a quick search it looks very similar.
  • Mark 05:51PM, Jun 15 2009 Yes, this is the same granite that Home Depot sells as Majestic Sand.
  • LM 02:25PM, Jan 2 2009 Is this the same as Stonemark Majestic Sand?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:53AM, Jan 3 2009 LM: Not sure it's the same exact thing, but it seems to be similar.
  • Deanna 11:15PM, Sep 28 2008 Is this what Home Depot sell's as "Majestic Sand"?
    • All Granite and Marble 11:48AM, Sep 30 2008 Deanna: Not familiar with Home Depot's selection. Sorry.
  • linda eggleston 09:11PM, Apr 15 2008 i am inquiring about yr ivory fantasy which is a golden slab - i have a sample and its no where near that color it is more a white/gray stone with black flecks and brown colors pls adv
    • All Granite and Marble 01:09PM, Apr 16 2008 linda eggleston: This comment would be better placed under the Ivory Fantasy page. Regardless, it is impossible for us to have current photographs of all of our stones. Sometimes you'll see an older batch online while we already have used it up and have a new one.
