  • Marble.com - Kinga 05:12PM, Jul 12 2011 You can also do a hardwood floor instead of tiles. I like Derek’s suggestions for your backsplash but also check out the attached photos. I feel a nice Walnut colored or chocolate brown tumbled travertine would look amazing. Let me know what you think
  • Marble.com - Derek 02:35PM, Jul 12 2011 This is a very rich stone -- a neutral but warm backsplash such as a tumbled travertine tile in the Noce or Mocha variety is a solid option. As for flooring, a creme porcelain tile will top off the design nicely.
  • Jaylajhurnie 04:23PM, Jul 11 2011 can anyone recommend backsplash and flooring to go with this? I have very light cabinets
  • Mary Lou Bisceglia 11:53AM, Jan 13 2011 how would this granite look in the kitchen with off white cabinets and a 14' old brick wall behind the harth all stainless appliances....thanks
    • All Granite and Marble 09:10AM, Jan 14 2011 Mary Lou Bisceglia: I think the Juparana Arandis would look wonderful in your set-up. This granite will offset your light cabinets and tie-in the brick wall.
  • Anthony 10:06PM, Sep 20 2010 Great suggestions. I quite like the butterfly antique ! Great look. The Tropical Brown shade is a better choice than the Giallo or Baltic. Not quite sure of the tone - looks different in the pictures Is there an alternate to this which I could look at as well ? Then any suggestions for paint color ?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:49AM, Sep 21 2010 Anthony: A nice alternative is Desert Brown. For wall color try Benjamin Moore "Barely Beige".
  • Anthony 01:38PM, Sep 18 2010 My kitchen will feature Medallion cabinetry. The door style is Winston and the color cabinets are Cherry Pecan. I am looking for a granite which will contrast and bring out the cherry color (not orange) in the cabinetry. I have been offerred Giallo Ornamental, Santa Cecilia, Baltic Brown, uba tuba. I don't like the white background on Giallo, the quarter (or larger) size circles on baltic, the uba doesn't look green. The Madura Gold I checked out looked was very orange and made the cabinet look orange. I am looking for a medium to darker (but not black) color to compliment the cabinet and I also don't like a lot of grey. Any suggestions ? Am I a hopeless case ?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:12AM, Sep 20 2010 Anthony: Some good suggestions for you are: Tropical Brown or Butterfly Antique. Let me know what you think of these!
  • LOYD Brown 11:43PM, Jul 26 2010 We have red oak cabinets with a medium brown stain. The cabinets are an orangey-light brown color. The color is similar to the Bruce wood floor color "gunstock". What are some suggestions for a granite countertop?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:55AM, Jul 27 2010 LOYD Brown: Try Kosmus and Typhoon Gold.
  • Pepper 10:52AM, Dec 8 2009 How would this granite look on an island with a reddish stained wood and the perimeter cabinets an off white with a solid soapstone countertop?
    • All Granite and Marble 02:13PM, Dec 8 2009 Pepper: Sounds like an excellent idea.
  • All Granite and Marble 04:43PM, Sep 28 2009 Donna Y: we have this one in stock
  • Donna Y. 11:33AM, Sep 27 2009 I am using slabs of this for my kitchen. Do you have tiles or fireplace surround in this tile? I would like to tie it in but cutting the slab is too expensive through my builder...
  • Linda 02:55PM, Jul 25 2009 Have rubbed black island. Thinking of putting Arandis on it (either that or Vyara). Have light creamy perimeter cabinets w/chocolate rub. I don't want to put the arandis on perimeter cabinets. Any suggestions for island or perimeter?
    • All Granite and Marble 03:05PM, Jul 25 2009 Linda: It becomes extremely difficult to match up and make look "good" a kitchen set-up with different perimeter granite and island color as well as different color cabinetry. I would go with Arandis on the island and perimeter.
  • Eddie 08:12AM, Jun 17 2009 I plan to install cherry coffee glaze cabinets, bronze/browns glass tile back splash would this counter top well with plans
    • All Granite and Marble 09:55AM, Jun 17 2009 Eddie: It should be good as a low contrast color scheme. It may get close to the surrounding colors. Sound like you want that though.
  • C. Shanley 12:41PM, Feb 18 2009 I would like to use this around a fireplace. Would this go with Butterscotch colored walls
    • All Granite and Marble 04:34PM, Feb 19 2009 C. Shanley: Should be fine.
  • Linda 09:21PM, Nov 17 2008 We have creamy sand colored cabinets with cocoa glaze. I like Amendoim natural hardwood for the floors. The kitchen is medium-sized, east-facing with one large paladium window and one regular window. The appliances are stainless steel. How would this granite work? Could you suggest a better one? What color walls would go well with the combination?
    • All Granite and Marble 08:32AM, Nov 24 2008 Linda: I think you chose a good granite for your color combination. As for the walls, I think a light color found in either the cabinets or the stone would be ok. Perhaps the off white.
  • Russ 01:52PM, Nov 13 2008 We're getting this countertop and would like to find some matching tile to accent the surronding tile work. Is that possible?
    • All Granite and Marble 03:01PM, Nov 21 2008 Russ: You could get small strips of this stone cut and use them as accents.
  • Jay Bone 01:55AM, Aug 8 2008 How would Arandis look with honey oak and white appliances?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:15AM, Sep 19 2008 Jay Bone: Low to medium contrast.. Pretty nice.
  • sheilah 09:35PM, Jul 26 2008 How will this look with dark cherry cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a ceramic tile floor that is on the pinky-taupe side?
    • All Granite and Marble 11:39AM, Aug 11 2008 sheilah: Should look very cool.
  • siobhan cronin 12:08PM, Jul 7 2008 how will this look with dark cherry cab and stainless steel appliances it looks beautiful but so many choices pls advise.
    • All Granite and Marble 05:37PM, Jul 17 2008 siobhan cronin: Very dramatic. Should work well.
  • penny 01:24PM, Jan 30 2008 I have dark wood cabinets and pale yellow walls. What color granite countertops should I choose?
    • All Granite and Marble 05:08PM, Feb 7 2008 penny: I would go for golds with a touch of grey perhaps.
  • Karen 11:56PM, Nov 30 2007 We are having the stone put on our countertops, we have chocolate colored cabinets, what color of wood floor would you go with, a dark wood or light wood. thanks
    • All Granite and Marble 10:14AM, Dec 4 2007 Karen: I would probably pick a lighter wood, but in the same color tones as the cabinets.
