We want to install granite countertops and back splash. What do you recommend? We are looking at colombo. We like something with browns, beiges and black. We don't want something too wild or too subtle.

• Jill 10:45PM, Oct 10 2009 I have dark hardwood floors and golden oak cabinets in a medium size kitchen with no window. My backspash is a charcoal slate with rust and red and gold. I love muted colors in my farmhouse kitchen. Would you suggest this countertop? Is it too dark with no life?

• Linda 04:11PM, Nov 15 2008 I have selected Juparana Columbo granite for the countertops,canvas cabinets with mocha glaze and want Brazilian cherry floors. What do you think of that combination? If that works, then what color walls would be good? My kitchen windows are east-facing. Thanks
  • All Granite and Marble 03:07PM, Nov 21 2008 Linda: Overall a good color scheme. The walls would have to give way to the countertops though. Perhaps you can use a pale shade of the glaze found on the cabinets?
