    Hello Jerry,

The Giallo Ornamental is a more versatile stone which offers more options and choices. It would go very nicely with your tile selection.

    Hello,
We are building and will have Espresso cabinets. Our granite options are Giallo Ornamental (or Santos) and Juperana Fantastico. We're torn between the two. Any suggestions on what would provide the best look? Backsplash will be a crème colored tile laid on a diagonal with the multi-colored miniature tile squares (browns, greys, maybe even a little blue...4x4) inlay.

We're out of stock on this stone across all of our locations at the moment, sorry.

Hi Kimberly. Are you leaning toward a dark countertop shade for a contrast to offset the hickory wood, or perhaps a warm complement in a brownish tone? For example, a darker color that would be appropriate is something along the lines of granite's such as Tropical Brown, Butterfly Antique, Copa Gold, and Imperial Coffee. The opposite direction could be choices such as Santa Cecilia Classic, Giallo Napole, and Ouro Brasil. Let me know your thoughts on these! :-)

Is juperana fantastico still available?  I am adding another counter to kitchen and would like to duplicate as closely as possible the juperana fantastico I already have.

I have natural hickory cabinets and would like to know what granite would look best with these? I have stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is open to the family room and large with white tile flooring. Any suggestions??

  • Gwen 07:42PM, Feb 1 2011 hi I have a galley kitchen with memphis cherry kitchen cabinets both sides, stainless steel appliances, cream walls with cream coloured floor tiles.Any suggestions for the best colour granite to make the kitchen look bright and bigger
    • All Granite and Marble 09:49AM, Feb 2 2011 Gwen: My recommendations to brighten up the set-up are Kashmir Gold, Astoria, and Santa Cecilia Light. Let me know what you think of these!
  • Stephanie 01:15PM, Jan 6 2010 We want to redo our cabinets with a Vintage White paint finish, and the floors are a medium/honey brown bamboo. Do you think J. fantastico would look good, with a tile backsplash?
    • All Granite and Marble 04:26PM, Jan 6 2010 Stephanie : It would look lovely.
  • Proozyzer 06:41AM, Oct 15 2009 Hi People How are you doing?
  • Cathy 06:45PM, Mar 31 2009 We have med brown beech cabinets with a red undertone, larch flooring with a red/golden stain (quite rustic), butter yellow walls, creamy white trim, stainless appliances and the room is quite bright and open to the living/dining areas. Does the Fantastico provide enough contrast? The gold tones and movement in the stone appealed to us, versus a giallo ornamental or Moon white...
    • All Granite and Marble 02:01PM, Apr 3 2009 Cathy: In spite of the way the picture looks, this stone is on the lighter side. Which will create enough contrast with your cabinets.
  • Ann 10:11AM, Dec 14 2007 We have the SAME type of kitchen as Amit, with perhaps a bit more red...natural cherry cabinets, honey wood floors...BUT black and stainless appliances...any suggestions?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:24AM, Dec 17 2007 Ann: Champagne Florencia is still a good match. Other colors to consider would be Tobacco, Amazon Star, Bordeaux...
  • Amit 10:57PM, Sep 18 2007 Most of the Giallo's seem predominantly gold and seemed like they would also blend into the cabinets. Any specific darker granites? Anything with a little motion?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:07AM, Sep 20 2007 Amit: Not sure how much you'll like this, but try Champagne Florencia.
  • Amit 09:33AM, Sep 17 2007 We have a very open, light kitchen, natural maple cabinets, a honey maple floor, and white appliances. My wife likes this stone, since she is drawn to its earth tones. I am concerned about the Fantasica blending in with the cabinets and becoming too monotone. I was thinking Topic Brown. Any suggestions?
    • All Granite and Marble 08:53AM, Sep 18 2007 Amit: You are on the money! This color with a light maple will wash out the whole kitchen making it look like a giant golden blob. I suggest something a bit darker, maybe a nice Giallo?
