  • patricia 06:12PM, Nov 15 2010 I have two follow up questions for you. What is the color code, name, and manufacturer of the backsplash and countertop for the island in photos 5 through 9. Also what suggested cabinet and flooring opptions would you combine the backsplash and island countertop with?
    • All Granite and Marble 12:10PM, Nov 16 2010 Patricia: As stated, we only have information on the granite countertop itself. The backsplash is definitely some kind of tumbled marble or travertine stone, but your guess is as good as mine. A dark cherry or walnut cabinet is the preferred choice wood to be used with Juparana Golden Vyara. A mocha or noce travertine tile could be used as flooring.
  • patricia 03:10PM, Nov 14 2010 please identify the manufacturer of the kitchen cabients and the name and color of the cabients in the photos for the santa cecilia stone. see photos 5 of 9 through 9 of 9.
    • All Granite and Marble 02:30PM, Nov 15 2010 Patricia: Unfortunately we do not have these specifications on-file, we only have information on the granite itself that was used.
  • Susan 10:51PM, Sep 7 2010 I have terra cotta mexican tile floors. I have bleached oak cabinets. I am trying to change my counter tops. Walls are fauxed with deep gold texture. Can I go with the Juparana Golden Granite or will it look odd with the terra cotta floor. I have looked and looked for a less shiny countertop, but saw this granite and think it might look great. Thanks
    • All Granite and Marble 08:46AM, Sep 8 2010 Susan: You're on the right track, this is an excellent choice.
  • JFN 05:32PM, Apr 15 2010 This house is currently under construction. I thought I could only have red oak wood floor, the builder said I can also choose natural oak or other colors. Should I go with lighter color of oak floor for this kind of cabinets? Red oak will probably make the kitchen and great room look too red. With Stone ID 265 granite countertop, what color of tumbled travertine tile should I use for backsplash? I have wood floor in formal living and dining rooms too which are located in a separate area. Should I use same color of wood as kitchen and great room? Sorry for asking too many questions. Thanks!!!
    • All Granite and Marble 08:51AM, Apr 16 2010 JFN: You're right, there would be too much reddish tones. Use a lighter oak for the floors. Try a Jerusalem Gold tumbled backsplash.
  • JFN 11:21AM, Apr 14 2010 Will Santa Cecilia ( stone ID?) or black (stone ID?) look better?
    • All Granite and Marble 02:51PM, Apr 14 2010 JFN: Santa Cecilia is a good option for a calmer, consistent patterns tone. An all black granite would be too dark for your set-up.
  • JFN 11:16AM, Apr 14 2010 Thanks for the input! What is your stone ID for this? Also, should I use a different color for the island? Both kitchen and great room are small. Kitchen is 14x18 and great room is 11x18.
    • All Granite and Marble 02:50PM, Apr 14 2010 JFN: The stone ID is 265. You should use the same stone for the whole countertop.
  • JFN 12:05PM, Apr 13 2010 I have sundale maple paprika kitchen cabinets and red oak wood floor (cherry stain) in both kitchen and great room. SS appliances. Cabinets are almost on one side of the wall and faces great room. There is an island in between. Both kitchen and great room opens to the second floor. I am thinking using either Bordeaux or Juparana Golden Vyara for the countertops and black granite for the island. Are they good choices? Do you have any suggestions for the countertops and color of the back splash (it's going to be tile)?
    • All Granite and Marble 01:30PM, Apr 13 2010 JFN: I'm leaning towards the Golden Juparana, it's gold tones will compliment the cherry tones in your cabinetry nicely. For backsplash, try a tumbled travertine tile.
  • Alice 09:19PM, Mar 2 2010 What is the name of the granite in all of the above photos?
    • All Granite and Marble 08:43AM, Mar 3 2010 Alice: The stone in the slab photos is Santa Cecilia.
  • Robert 06:19PM, Dec 8 2009 We have cherry cabinets with a cherry brown finish, not to red, we went with a four inch backsplash and are now having a hard time finding a good color stone to use as a backsplash. Any suggestions?
    • All Granite and Marble 08:40AM, Dec 9 2009 Robert: What stone did you use as your countertop?
  • Mike 01:43PM, Apr 21 2009 We have heavily grained darkish oak cabinets and oak floors. Looking for light granite. Suggestions?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:19AM, Apr 23 2009 Mike: I think you're on the right track with this stone. You may try some lighters stones for more contrast and see how that fits you.
  • terry 11:17AM, Apr 6 2009 hi, the countertop on the kitchen picture does not match with the Juparana GOlden Vyara. can you let me know what ist he stone on the picture
    • All Granite and Marble 11:20AM, Apr 6 2009 terry: Terribly sorry for this mistake. This stone is Santa Cecilia or Santa Helena.
  • Maggie 12:10AM, Feb 8 2009 the cabinet is a stained in dark Red Oak in Mahogany wood I like this Jupara Golden Vyara, I want something that has alittle garnet or rose in it
    • All Granite and Marble 09:48AM, Feb 9 2009 Maggie: Gotcha. You're on the right track. Most of the golds fit well into your design and also contain traces of red in them. Try something like Luxor (id# 302 in the stone gallery).
  • Maggie 02:06AM, Feb 7 2009 What color granite would look good with mahogany wood cabinets stained in Red Oak
    • All Granite and Marble 09:35AM, Feb 7 2009 Maggie: Can you describe the color and darkness of the cabinet?
  • fran 04:02PM, Dec 12 2008 I have maple cabinets with sesame glaze finish. The floors will be teak or golden teak. What colors will be good. There is a doulesided fireplace in this room also that has a lot of the colors of vayra gold in it. Grays, rust, black, cream and whitish. Could you give some help also would any cream boradeaux look good.
    • All Granite and Marble 05:49PM, Dec 16 2008 fran: It's almost as if there are too many of the same colors in there. Although JGV has a decent pattern to it, that alone might not be enough to separate it from the rest of the kitchen. I think Crema Bordeaux is the better choice there.
  • JoAnn 06:55PM, Dec 3 2007 Mycabinets are Cherry Spice with white oak flooring and the walls are painted Cayenne Pepper. How would the Juparana Golden Vyara look with this combo?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:25AM, Dec 4 2007 JoAnn: You have hit the nail right on the head! Perfect combination! We'd love to see it when you're done!
