Please contact service@marble.com. Include your address and a contact number. Please let us know how everything goes.

  • Marble.com - Jack 01:14PM, Jun 3 2014

I would recommend contacting the company which installed your granite and send them pictures to see if they can rectify the issue.

  • Yelena Markin 04:54AM, Jun 3 2014

We just had a new granite counter top installed and today I noticed some green stain on the surface. it's a new house, we haven't even started to use a kitchen... Please advise.

  • Marble.com - Peter 01:36PM, Mar 24 2014

    Hello Frank D,
This will be a great choice for cherry cabinets, I would recommend it.

  • Frank D 11:48PM, Mar 22 2014

We picked up a sample of granite, but don't know the color. In the showroom is was code 3805R, in South Plainfield. We have Cherry Bordeaux cabinets.

  • Peter 07:41PM, Aug 26 2013

I would advise against using Kashmir White (or any stone from the Kashmir family for that matter). These stones are on the more porous side among granites, and might not be up to the task with 12 kids around. Which ever stone you end up choosing, make sure that you test the sample for staining before you commit to buy the whole slab.

  • hinchmom 12:07AM, Aug 12 2013

are kashmir white and kashmir cream the same stone? i found a cashmere cream slab with grey that looks like pics of kashmir white. also, i have 12 children and wonder how this granite will hold up.

  • Peter 03:05PM, Jul 17 2013

Dee, The blue glass tile sounds like a nice choice, if not I would suggest a Penny Round Mossaic Tile which would complement this granite nicely as well.

  • Dee 07:46PM, Jul 16 2013

We are going with Kashmir White for our kitchen countertops. I want to pair this with a blue glass tile for the backsplash as our cupboards will be white so the blue will really pop. Any suggestions? Not crazy about mosaic and would like a strong blue. Thank you.

  • Peter 06:15PM, Jun 10 2013

A glass mossaic tile that picks up all the colors in your bathroom would tie everything together nicely.

  • Jocelyn 12:40AM, May 1 2013

Hi! I'm looking for some advice. I'm redoing a small bathroom and am using Kashmire white for the counter. The vanity is going to be merilat Kona. I saw the recommendation for Stonington Grey which I like, but I can't decide on a tile color. Any suggestions??
    Thanks!

  • Marble.com - Adrian 02:12PM, Apr 20 2013

Hi, yes there is in stock in Ridgefield Park NJ location: http://www.marble.com/location...

  • Aspodel75 10:35PM, Apr 14 2013

Hi. Do you have Kashmir White in stock in ridgefield? I need 74sqft...for my counter top.

  • Marble.com - Adrian 02:33PM, Apr 6 2013

Hi, Thank you for attaching the picture, it's really helpful. Regarding to the backsplash I would suggest you to go with a light and grey stone mosaic. I've attched you two samples: White Carrara Mini Brick Mosaic and Subway Tile Marble Size 5x2. I have some suggestion on laminate flooring, I think that you can take a look at  Laminated Flooring E1 HDF also please look at the attachment. Please let me know what do you think ?

Hello I'm working with Sundale Maple Paprika cabinets and White Kashmir granite...I'm desperate to find a backsplash with some pop that works. And any suggestions on laminate flooring to match would be awesome. below are the cabinets.

  • guest 03:28PM, Mar 20 2013

    Thank you!

  • Marble.com - Adrian 07:39PM, Mar 18 2013

Hi, I would recommend you to go with calm and soft feeling grey colours.. Please see the attachment with Benjamin Moore - Stoning Grey HC 170. I think it will help you !

  • guest 05:41PM, Mar 18 2013

We have kashmir white granite countertops with dark cabinets and a glass tile backsplash that has a slight blue tint to it.  Any suggestions for a paint color in the gray family?  Our molding/woodwork is painted Navajo White by Benjamin Moore.

  • Marble.com - Adrian 03:43PM, Feb 9 2013

Hi Sam. Kashmire White (dimensions: 78x133)  is in stock in South Plainfield facility: http://www.marble.com/location... . The other stone that I've found with the same dimensions is called River Valley, avaliable in Ridgefield Park NJ, South Plainfield NJ  and Vestal NY locations:  http://www.marble.com/location... . Hope this helps :)

  • Sam Reeves 10:07PM, Feb 7 2013

Do you have kashmir white granite with a minimum length of 132" and a minimum width of 60"?

What other predominate white granite do you have with a minimum length 132" and a minimum width of 60"?

  • Marble.com - Derek 09:36PM, Jan 25 2013

Hello. Yes the Kashmir White can be honed during fabrication at an extra charge. A honed finish is a *little* more susceptible to staining (plus Kashmir White is one of the more porous granite's in the first place). Therefore, I would recommend to reseal the stone every six months as opposed to every twelve months like most other granite. I recommend to online purchase and use one of the strongest sealers called DuPont StoneTech Bulletproof Sealer and then you'll be good to go! You can order this product from our affiliate MrStone by visiting the following page: http://www.mrstone.com/granite... Hope this helps! :-)

  • Adriennegaboyoun 06:19PM, Jan 22 2013

Would it be possible to get the Kashmir White granite with a honed finish?  Are there any draw backs to that?

  • Marble.com - Derek 02:12PM, Jan 18 2013

You're on the right track. The Kashmir White would be quite elegant in your kitchen space and add a contemporary touch. I'd suggest to also take a look at Ice White and Netuno Bordeaux. Hope this helps!

  • Sheri Jonathan 08:45PM, Jan 13 2013

Hello.  We are looking at replacing our plain white laminate counter tops with the Kashmir White granite.  Do you think this would look OK with our honey oak cabinets and flooring?  The kitchen is smallish and doesn't have an abundance of natural lighting and our design taste is sleek/modern.  Thank you!

  • Marble.com - Derek 02:47PM, Jan 9 2013

I'll start with the kitchen. I'm not familiar with the White Wave granite, but did some research online and it looks very nice. However, I recommend to also check out the following: Netuno Bordeaux, Bianco Antico, and Ice White. I just feel that a little more movement and veins within the countertop will highlight it's elegance and accentuate the granite as a centerpiece of your kitchen. In terms of the small bathrooms, the Kashmir White is fine in this situation because it's a small space (you can also check out Viscont White). However, if you want to complement the maple wood, then timeless and light but warmer selections such as Giallo Napoleone or Santa Cecilia are more appropriate. Best of luck!

  • Lms1303 09:54PM, Jan 4 2013

Looking to do 2 bathroom vanities (maple countertops)  any advice for color? we want something light as the bathrooms are very small. We were originally going to go with Kashmir white but I see you post that it can clash with maple.  We need something light and clean looking,  Also looking to do our kitchen again, maple cabinets and black appliances, was leaning towards White Wave.  Any advice is appreciated!

  • Marble.com - Derek 08:08PM, Dec 11 2012

Hi Tracy. The Kashmir White is a wonderful choice for this set-up if you want a light & crisp kitchen design. Since the backsplash has plenty of colors a movement, a muted yet elegant granite such as Kashmir White is quite appropriate. Some other options I recommend for you to consider would be Bianco Romano and perhaps Milky White. Hope this helps!

  • Tracyghirardi 02:26AM, Dec 9 2012

was thinking kashmir white but just not sure...

  • Tracyghirardi 02:24AM, Dec 9 2012

Hello!  We are purchasing a home this week and plan to start finishing the basement this later this week.  We have done everything backwards and have chosen the backsplash and cabinets for the basement bar area....need help with granite colors and wall colors.  We have chosen white cabinets and the Anatolia Bliss 5x8"x random-Silver Aspen Mosaic tile.  Any suggestions for granite and wall colors?

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:18PM, Nov 27 2012

Hello. I'm not familiar with Tidal White as we do not carry this name. We're on the East Coast so perhaps that's why. However, after looking up photos of this stone online, I can say it does in-fact look quite similar to the Kashmir White. The Kashmir is a great choice against darker walnut cabinetry for a sleek and elegant contrast. Some other light granite's that could offset the wood nicely would be Snowflakes and River Valley. Best of luck!

  • Tugglekruger 03:50AM, Nov 25 2012

Hello, Can you tell me how Kashmir White differs from Tidal White.  TW seems very hard to source in my area (West Coast) but I saw a stunning picture of it in Houzz.com.  Kashmir White seems the closest to it but I an left wondering how it would differ.  We are installing walnut cabinets and wanted good contrast but also to pick up some of the hues in the wood.  Thanks for any input!

  • Marble.com - Derek 04:16PM, Oct 6 2012

Hello Richard. I am leaning toward the Kashmir White out of the two choices you're considering. My reason is that the Kashmir has less prominent garnet / purple colored flecks within the slabs compared to the Ambrosia. The Ambrosia would be more appropriate for a cherry colored cabinet, but since you have white wood, the Kashmir is a nice complement. Best of luck!

  • Richard1 06:33PM, Oct 4 2012

I have painted white traditional type cabinets, white appliances, terracotta tiles/wood floor.  Am trying to decide between kashmir white or ambrosia white worktops.  Want to keep it light!  Which of these two would you go for, or is this a mistake?

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:14PM, Sep 27 2012

Yes, you're on the right track. The Kashmir White will contrast your dark cabinets and the biscuit colored elements are fine.

  • Supriya 08:49PM, Sep 26 2012

Installing Kashmir White in our Master Bath with dark cabinets. Will biscuit colored fixtures - sink, tub, etc. - go well with this? I have bone in all other bathrooms and realize that is too dark for Kashmir White. Thanks.

  • Marble.com - Derek 01:37PM, Sep 25 2012

I have some wonderful backsplash tile suggestions for you that would complement your kitchen set-up efficiently! Please take a look at the Subway & Ming Glass mosaic from Sometile Reflections as well as a Cielo Crystal 2" x 2" mosaic. In addition, a White Carrara Mini Brick Mosaic could be very appropriate.  I've attached photos for your easy reference.

  • KFoley0323 07:48PM, Sep 22 2012

For our new home, we are choose Kashmir white granite with espresso cabinets, but we can't decide on our backsplash.  Our Kitchen will be painted Stonington Grey by Benjamin Moore so we are thinking either  a white or a off white subway title?  Do you think either of those would look better and any suggestions on what color grout?

  • Marble.com - Derek 02:49PM, Sep 11 2012

Yes. This will create an elegant, contemporary, white kitchen design. Another option I recommend is called River Valley. Hope this helps!

  • Barbsemeraro 03:47PM, Sep 5 2012

I am thinking of Kashmir White with Soft white stressed look cabinets.Would that look alwright?

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:21PM, Jul 27 2012

Hello there. Can you upload a photo of your cabinet color or provide me with a website link to the photo of your particular and specific cabinet color? This would be very helpful for me to give you accurate suggestion. Please let me know if that's possible. Thanks!

  • Marble.com - Derek 01:39PM, Jul 26 2012

Hello there! These light colors are excellent choices to contrast your darker cherry wood. Out of these suggestions, I am strongly leaning toward the always classic and timeless Santa Cecilia stone. As a plus, it's stronger with a lower porosity level than the Kashmir granite. In addition, it has warm undertones as opposed to the cooler Kashmir White. I've created a Comparison Chart of the two stones for you so you can easily visualize them side-by-side:
    http://www.marble.com/material... Hope this helps! :-)

  • jlmath 02:06AM, Jul 26 2012

We are planning to install KM Birch cabinets in a Praline color. Really like Kashmir White as the rust speckles seems to match the cabinet color. But this color is what I would call a medium brown, not real dark nor cherry as many writers describe. In an earlier post you discouraged a writer who said they had maple cabinets from using Kashmir White. Are you familiar with the praline color and what are your thoughts about that combination? Thanks for any thoughts.

  • Skrueger78 12:47PM, Jul 20 2012

    I mean cecilia light....

  • Skrueger78 12:46PM, Jul 20 2012

Thinking about Kashmir White, Cecilia White, or giallo ornamental for bordeaux cherry cabinets in our new kitchen.....  Any input as to what would look the best?  Also a bit worried about stories of the kashmir staining easily.

  • Marble.com - Natalia 06:33PM, Jul 12 2012

Absolutely! The contrast between the elegant darker cabinets and lighter Kashmir White will be a gorgeous combination. This look will give off a contemporary feel to the space. I also say go for it! :-)

  • Marble.com - Kinga 02:21PM, Jul 7 2012

I think it’s a sleek and elegant contrast that will give your space a sharp and magazine-like look. Go for it!

  • Marble.com - Kinga 02:18PM, Jul 7 2012

I would recommend using a light paint on the rest of the walls to avoid overwhelming the space while still showcasing your expressive plum color. Check out SW’s Ice Cube and Olympus White. I feel these colors would look best with your accent wall, cabinets and granite. For the island, have you considered a sharp contrast like the Black Pearl or Absolute Black?

  • Diana D 03:17PM, Jul 6 2012

For our kitchen rennovations we have medium colored hardwood floors, have bought black cabinets and are thinking of kashmir white countertops with a white subway tile backsplash - do you think this matches well?

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:19PM, Jul 5 2012

I recommend Anatolia Bliss Norwegian Ice Linear Mosaic as well as Subway & Ming Glass Mosaic from Somertile Reflections for a lighter choice. I've attached photos for your reference.

  • Susanhawley8 12:21AM, Jul 2 2012

Correction, I believe we chose the river white

  • Susanhawley8 10:38PM, Jul 1 2012

We are remodeling our kitchen and have installed a Canadian Maple floor.  Our cabinets are white, stainless steel appliances.  We chose to have an accent wall in expressive plum by Sherwin Williams and the Kasmir White granite.

What contrasting color would you suggest for an island and for the rest of the walls?

    Thank you

  • Bill 02:03AM, Jun 28 2012

Kitchen remodel - using Kashmir White granite counter tops, island tuscan red cherry, the perimeter cabinets will be white.  The wall color will be Sherwin Williams wool skein (light tan).  We are struggling to identify a good backsplash tile.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

  • Marble.com - Natalia 04:47PM, Jun 12 2012

Hi Jim. You're on the right track! An interesting and warm backsplash mosaic to go against Kashmir White could be Piano York Glass & Stone Mosaic or perhaps our Capadoccia Glass & Tumbled travertine. I've uploaded photos for your reference.

  • Jim 02:41AM, Jun 7 2012

I am planning to renovate my kitchen with Kashmir White granite+espresso color cabinets. I like Derek's suggestion below to use a
glass & stone mosaic stripped tile for backsplash. But still struggle on the wall color and title color, any suggestions? Since the color tone is little bit grey/ cold, I am thinking to use warm/rich color on the wall, not sure if it makes sense.

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:28PM, May 23 2012

That looks lovely! Excellent contrast between the dark wood and Kashmir White, and the stainless backsplash complements the counters beautifully.

  • Binto21 01:58AM, May 23 2012

I have Kashmir White granite countertops with ebony stained cabinets, very dark, looks black from a distance. As of today, after 2 years trying to find a backsplash I loved, I finally had backsplash installed. I actually used stainless steel subway tile, my appliances are stainless steel, along with my cabinetry hardware. I'm now looking for flooring, I plan to do ceramic tile. As for the color of my walls its like an vanilla, ivory, but very little is showing as my cabinets are 42 inches...Good Luck, I provided a picture

  • Marble.com - Derek 04:48PM, May 16 2012

The Kashmir White will look stunning and elegant against a dark cabinet color such as the black you're planning. Excellent and rich contrast. The backsplash should be light and simple to continue the flow of the countertop, perhaps even a full granite backsplash of the same Kashmir material? If not, I recommend a glass & stone mosaic stripped tile. I've attached a photo of my idea. In regard to wall color, consider Benjamin Moore line Snow White or a similar shade. Good luck!

  • Marble.com - Derek 02:50PM, May 16 2012

I think this shade of a soft and neutral gray is very appropriate. I also recommend the Benjamin Moore line with colors such as Gray Lake. Hope this helps!

  • Asmoore02 02:34AM, May 15 2012

We're purchasing a house in need of renovations as it was built in 90's. Kitchen currently has white cabinets. We plan to paint them black and I love the white Kashmir granite. Floors will be a varied plank, hand scraped, dark hickory, (almost a walnut color with black in it). Question 1. What are your thoughts on Kashmir? 2. Backsplash? Planning to paint walls a gray-blue. Suggestions on specific color?

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:21PM, May 14 2012

I recommend a natural travertine tile for a warm bathroom to offset the neutral Kashmir White. I've attached photos for your reference. Good luck!

  • Marble.com - Derek 04:12PM, May 10 2012

I think it's a nice, soft, and neutral shade. Go for it!

  • chris 01:13AM, May 10 2012

Bathroom with kashmir white granite counter, sarasparilla cabinets, white subway tiles around white tub, also white toilet and sink, floors creme with hint of gray.  Would restoration hardware's slate gray paint be too dark or too gray, if so do you have other suggestions?

  • nance 09:59PM, May 7 2012

I am using kashmir white in BR  type and color tiles would you suggest for shower and floor thanks

  • chris 04:21PM, May 5 2012

Derek, Do you think restoration hardware's slate gray is too dark or too gray?   Chris

  • Cynthia 11:55PM, May 3 2012

I love the idea of light colored walls.. I will check out Gray Sky right away!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Marble.com - Derek 05:27PM, May 2 2012

    You're welcome!

  • Marble.com - Derek 07:17PM, May 1 2012

Are there any wall colors that you've looked at so far that have caught your attention? Since you are following an elegant white kitchen style, I'd continue with a light color on the walls such as Gray Sky by Benjamin Moore but have you thought about adding an accent wall? You can pick-up the garnet flecks in the Kashmir White with an accent wall of Black Raspberry by BM for example. Just some food for thought!

  • Vivekbal 05:40AM, Apr 28 2012

Excellent recommendation of River Valley. It has the slight beige and white combination that I was looking for to better compliment the Sarsparilla and mocha floors. Thanks!

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:02PM, Apr 27 2012

Do you have a specific paint color you'd like me to examine? A light gray with creme undertones sounds like a nice compliment to go against Kashmir White granite in a bathroom, you're on the right track!

  • Cynthia 12:36AM, Apr 27 2012

Hi I have Kashmiri white granite counters. I LOVE it! However boy am I stuck to find a wall color. I have BM dove white cupboards, floors are maple laminate. I have brought home so many color chips trying to find something that will look good w/ the granite. Any suggestions???

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:26PM, Apr 24 2012

Kashmir White would provide an excellent contrast to offset the dark natural wood in your set-up. However, the Kashmir has plenty of grey undertones that may not be ideal for your design, while a color such as River White (known as River Valley with us) has beautiful, subtle flowing veins on a very light background and may be more appropriate. In the end, I am leaning toward one of these two choices as both are beautiful. Good luck!

  • chris 01:24PM, Apr 21 2012

Bathroom remodel with kashmir white granite sarsaparilla stained oak cabinets and white subway tile bath with white tub, toilet, and sink.   Ceramic tile floors light beige with hint of gray.   I was looking at a medium toned gray-beige paint.  Would this work or do you have another paint color in mind.

  • Vivekbal 03:12PM, Apr 20 2012

I am considering between Kashmir White, Imperial White, River White, Bianco Romano

  • Vivekbal 05:05AM, Apr 20 2012

We are new construction and have sarsparilla oak (very dark) cabinets for kitchen and mocha oak (dark) hardwood floors. Will Kashmir white (light) be a good choice for the countertop? All appliances are stainless steel. Do you suggest a different color for countertop?

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:16PM, Apr 10 2012

The maple color tone in the wood and Kashmir White might clash a little -- this granite is more appropriate to go against either a white cabinet or a cherry cabinet. However, I'd acquire a sample and put it against your cabinet in the kitchen light to see how you enjoy the combination and go from there.

  • EllaR 04:16PM, Apr 9 2012

I have light maple cabinets, greyish green walls and greyish/blue green tile floors- would this granite work well?

  • Marble.com - Derek 04:20PM, Mar 29 2012

You're on the right track. However, I'd add some warm undertones to the light countertop choice to pick up the cabinet color a little bit. How about choices such as Colonial Cream, New Colonial Dream, or Golden Riviera? Just some food for thought.

  • Jayant Dadhania 02:07AM, Mar 26 2012

I am renovating my kitchen and have briawood stain maple cabinets. We like suggestion for granite color selection to go with it. We prefer lighter colors since we will install santos mahagony wood floor. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. We have looked at Snow flake, kashmir white and river white.

We are remodeling a bathroom. We are looking for a natural stone countertop. We have a drop-in sink already. You don't appear to have any stores in our area; but we would be inclined to go to one of your locations, the closest being in PA. We live in the Western New York area. Would it be possible to order a countertop giving our dimenions to you? Also, would there be a problem installing this ourselves? TIA

  • Marble.com - Derek 03:28PM, Feb 28 2012

Kashmir White is an appropriate choice for a neutral, light, and airy bathroom. It has soft, subtle hues that will compliment the design quite nicely. Go for it!

  • Marble.com - Derek 07:03PM, Feb 25 2012

My recommendations for you that I feel would fit your design nicely and compliment the look you're trying to achieve is the Mirabelle Collection blue, grey, brown glass tile in a brick pattern, as well as the smoky brown glass tile also in a brick pattern. Either one of those I feel would be quite lovely. Let me know your thoughts!

  • chris 08:36PM, Feb 24 2012

I am doing a bathroom remodel and going with large white subway tiles around the bathtub.  My cabinets are a sarsaparilla stained oak.  I was looking at kashmir white granite with white sink, tub and toilet.  Floors off white with a hint of grey large ceramic.  Is kashmir white a good choice for this?

  • Charlotte 11:13PM, Feb 22 2012

Help!  I am under contract with a new construction condo and need to make a decision on backsplash for my kitchen! My cabinets are mocha, and I chose the Kashmire white granite for my counter tops.  But I have NO idea what to choose for a backsplash.  I know I like subway tile but color-wise, I'm trying to avoid "earthy tones" because I'd really like some beach glass tones instead.  Any advice???!

  • Marble.com - Derek 06:34PM, Oct 27 2011 We are indeed very sorry that you were affected by hurricane Irene and hope for a full recovery in the home. Kashmir White is an appropriate choice for the look you're trying to achieve, but also colors such as Bianco Romano and our new addition River Valley (http://www.marble.com/blog/riv... would fit the design very nicely. Let me know your thoughts!
  • Marble.com - Derek 12:41PM, Oct 27 2011 I'd lean toward a color such as Astoria or Sunset Ivory. These granite's have warm creme highlights and would compliment the color tones in your cabinets nicely.
  • Marble.com - Kinga 11:58AM, Oct 26 2011 Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear you were hit by the hurricane :(   Hopefully no one got hurt! If you are going for a nautical feel, a Kashmir White with the blue-grey veins, as opposed to the creamy shipment that's also available, will definitely give you the look you are after. Also take a look at Ambrosia White, Ilhabella and Blue Pearl. Out of these three suggestions, I’m really leaning towards the Blue Pearl. It would look fantastic against your white cabinets and surely provide you with the nautical look you want to achieve. Let me know how you feel about these suggestions!
  • Barbara 11:00PM, Oct 25 2011 Hurricane Irene surged right into our house.  Now we are redoing the whole main floor, which is the living room, kitchen, bathroom  and office/den.  We are on a canal (oh...that's why we flooded!) so we're going for a nautical feel.  The house is very dark and we really need to lighten it up.  We are choosing maple floors and white kitchen cabinets.  I am considering Kashmir White (a blue-ish slab) for the kitchen counters.  I absolutely do not want creamy... I want cool white not warm white!  What do you think?
  • Marble.com - Kinga 01:08PM, Oct 25 2011 The Kashmir White will not have the buttery cream color you are after; however, the Kashmir Gold definitely fits that description. For other beautiful and warm suggestions check out Santa Cecilia Real, Santa Cecilia, Super Gold and Yellow River. Let me know what you think about these suggestions!
  • Dacollelo 02:52AM, Oct 24 2011 Hello, I hope you can help me out!  We are remodeling our kitchen, dining room and living room.  Our new cabinets are maple with a light cherry stain.  I am looking at Kahhmir white or Ivory gold for the counter tops.  I really wanted to have a warm buttery cream yellow in the kitchen.  The kitchen is open to dining room so that would have to have the same color.  The celings are cathedral so you can see into the living room so I need a color for that to.  Any suggestions?  Not sure if wood floor would be okay for the kitchen we are putting it in the dining and living room area?
  • Marble.com - Derek 07:09PM, Sep 20 2011 I'd use Benjamin Moore "Antique White" for the cabinets for a classic white color, and a subtle & soft gray for the wall color, perhaps Benjamin Moore "Ice Cubed Silver" or "Gray Cloud".
  • Marble.com - Derek 06:49PM, Sep 20 2011 We don't currently carry Kashmir White at the Stroudsburg facility, it's available in our Ridgefield Park, NJ location. I recommend to call the PA sales office and inquire about the lighter colors, as I unfortunately don't have a list of the stock at that facility. If possible, your best bet would be to actually visit the location and look at the full slabs in-person. You can bring free samples home with you.
  • Rastin 07:41PM, Sep 19 2011 We just installed Kashmir White counter which is very pretty but our cabinets look dingy with it and our wall color BR Pewter Revere looks dingy as well. Suggestions for brighter cabinet color and wall color?
  • Laura 12:31PM, Sep 19 2011 Do you have Kashmir White or any other white or light granites at the Stroudsburg location?
  • Marble.com - Derek 08:24PM, Sep 13 2011 To be honest with you, usually a darker and warmer granite color combination is used with a natural maple cabinet. It's best that you look at the full slabs in-person and put a cabinet door sample against the slab to see how you like the combination. I'm afraid that these two shades may clash. How about a granite in the green tones? Take a look at Butterfly, and Costa Esmeralda. Let me know what you think.
  • rAustin 11:16PM, Sep 11 2011 Would this work with natural maple cabinets? Flooring is a light greyish tile, appliances stainless. Most pictures show this granite with either white cabinets or darker red/brown stains. We don't want black, gold, brown, or beige countertop so looking at whites but not sure how it would go with the natural maple. Thanks!
  • Marble.com - Derek 05:22PM, Aug 31 2011 My suggestion is 2x4 Calacatta marble tile. The grey tones would compliment your granite nicely. I've attached an image for your reference.
  • Marble.com - Kinga 09:08PM, Aug 25 2011 I think a white subway tile or a honed White Carrara would complement the Kashmir White very well without overpowering the kitchen. Let me know what you think!
  • Karina V 06:25PM, Aug 24 2011 I need some advice guys. I have cherry cabinet  and we have installed Kashmir white countertops, I'm looking for backsplash to compliment Kashmir White. Thanks!
  • Marble.com - Kinga 04:10PM, Jun 27 2011 I would not do the beadboard backsplash. Like Derek mentioned, it would be very difficult to keep clean and it damages quite easily especially near the sink. I’ve seen it done before with granite and I’m not a fan of the overall look.  If you like the linear look of the beadboard, you should consider using a long subway tile instead. The grout would look like the groves of the beadboard so it may be worth checking out. If you’re set on the beadboard, I would paint it a soft color like Benjamin Moore’s “Morning Dew” for a cooler feel in the kitchen or “Crème Burlee” if you want add warmth.
  • Marble.com - Derek 03:37PM, Jun 27 2011 Personally, I'm not a fan of beadboard backsplash, as they can be difficult to clean because dirt can get into the grooves. Have you thought about a subway tile backsplash? If you're going to use the beadboard backsplash, then some darker color is needed in the paint choice as all your elements in the design are very light. Something like Benjamin Moore "Sweet Spring".
  • M Lynnecox 08:31PM, Jun 24 2011 We have just installed Kashmir White countertops (love them), have white appliances and white cabinets.  Am seriously considering beadboard for backsplash and up to the bottom of the cabinets.  Kitchen is open to dining and living rooms painted Benjamin Moore's Windham Cream.  Any suggestions as to color for the beadboard or any other suggestions?  Thanks!
  • Marble.com - Derek 12:30PM, Jun 22 2011 Kashmir White is a classic choice to go against light cabinets to create a stunning white kitchen. By adding a dark hardwood floor to the mix, you're creating a rich contrast from the lighter elements in your design. Go for it!
  • Marble.com - Kinga 03:00PM, Jun 21 2011 Stan Buturla ,

Since your floor is on the darker side, this stone would definitely work with white cabinets. Consider doing a darker backsplash to give the space a more contrast and balance. Hope this helps!
  • Stan Buturla 11:55PM, Jun 20 2011 I am having white cabinets with stainless steel appliances and a medium dark wood floor. Would Kashmir White go well with this set up. Thanks
  • Amber 06:32PM, Mar 27 2011 I stained our dated cabinets in our bathroom classic black. What countertop would you suggest. I would like a lighter color so they really pop.
    • All Granite and Marble 08:53AM, Mar 29 2011 Amber: Some options for you to consider are Kashmir White, Bianco Antico, Bianco Romano, Ambrosia White. Take your pick.
  • yaoyao 11:15PM, Mar 1 2011 We are deciding countertop for a secondary bathroom . It has light blue wall; white cabinets and satin nickle ligtht fixture. Is kashmir white a good choice? thanks
    • All Granite and Marble 09:18AM, Mar 2 2011 Yaoyao: Kashmir White is a great choice. A very calm stone. Another option could be Bianco Romano.
  • Kim Marie 08:49AM, Jan 10 2011 I need design advice. I hve Glacier White cabs and Kashmir White countertops--love it but need backsplash options. I had installed superwhite mini srips but once installed were more like beach glass (greys, blue and a pale green) and it looks hideous. I have to have it torn out so need a fool proof re-install material. Please help.
    • All Granite and Marble 09:16AM, Jan 10 2011 Kim Marie: How about a simple and clean white subway tile? It's odd that the super white glass tile came out looking not so white. Also, have you into tumbled natural stone backsplash, perhaps a botticino or carrera marble tile would be a good choice.
  • Wren 04:49PM, Dec 13 2010 Hi I'm installing esspresso (dark Chocolate) cabinets, trying to decide between Kashmire white or kashmire gold? Any suggestions
    • All Granite and Marble 09:21AM, Dec 14 2010 Wren: I'm leaning towards the Kashmir Gold. The rich and warm golden tones will compliment your dark wood cabinetry nicely.
  • sondra adam 10:48PM, Nov 8 2010 We Kashmir White in our kitchen with cherry cabinets. I is wonderful! There is a lot of gray in this. It's light but not white.
    • All Granite and Marble 09:28AM, Nov 10 2010 Sondra Adam: Glad you picked a good choice! :)
  • karen Guggenheim 05:16PM, Oct 4 2010 I am looking into using kashmir white for my kitchen. I have white cabinets, white floor and white appliances and also white brick backsplash. I love a white kitchen, but is this too much? Please advise
    • All Granite and Marble 09:31AM, Oct 5 2010 Karen Guggenheim: It might be a little too cold and neutral. How about Kashmir Gold?
  • anne 05:08PM, Sep 24 2010 We are doing vanilla cream, caramel glazed shaker cabinets, white crackle glazed subway tile backsplash, and Australian sandstone flooring . Our appliances are stainless. Not sure if the kashmir white granite will look overall gray and not compliment the other brown tones. The rest of our home has so much dark wood, we want to brighten up our kitchen. Please help!
    • All Granite and Marble 10:59AM, Sep 28 2010 Anne: I'm leaning towards the other variation of this stone: Kashmir Gold.
  • Baldeep 01:01AM, Aug 10 2010 Hi we have dark floors and dark chocolate cabinets what would u say to kashmir white counter top
    • All Granite and Marble 08:35AM, Aug 10 2010 Baldeep: Excellent choice. The rich contrast and elegant design will fit in beautifully.
  • Debbie 03:18PM, Aug 4 2010 We are considering Azul Aran or Kashmire White countertops. We have medium oak cabinets and wood floors. What do you think?
    • All Granite and Marble 08:15AM, Aug 5 2010 Debbie: I'm leaning toward the Azul Aran for a richer pattern and elegant design.
  • Marissa 04:16PM, Mar 29 2010 We have cool, bright white cabinets. Would kashmir white be too much of a good thing here? Also considering caledonia.
    • All Granite and Marble 04:24PM, Mar 29 2010 Marissa: Not much contrast, but if that's the look you're looking for, then I do not see any problem. It would be a beautiful white kitchen.
  • pragna 02:03PM, Feb 18 2010 would caffe, maple cabinets go with kashmir white marble counter top, and the floor is a grey colour tile
    • All Granite and Marble 04:35PM, Feb 18 2010 pragna: Absolutely!
  • Shawn 12:46AM, Jan 3 2010 I'm installing expresso color cabinets. Would kashmir white work? The floors will be a beige travertine stone. Also, what color of paint would I choose? And backsplash?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:52AM, Jan 4 2010 Shawn: Kashmir White will look great, all the contrast that you need. You should consider a slate backsplash...and walls could be a shade of taupe.
  • Muk 01:07PM, Dec 1 2009 We are considering sorrel cabinets with oak butterscotch floors. Will KAshmir white be a good choice. Any other suggestions are appreciated
    • All Granite and Marble 03:06PM, Dec 1 2009 Muk: Kashmir White would look good, plenty of contrast. A similar stone is Vanilla. Also take a look at Giallo Ornamental.
  • Ashley 01:58AM, Nov 28 2009 will cherry cabinets work? what color backsplash and what floors look best? we are considering this or crema bordeaux. Also, have you seen Aqua Verde? I like this as well, but am not sure if green is too much and don't know if it will work with cherry cabinets.
    • All Granite and Marble 09:20AM, Nov 28 2009 Ashley: Take a look at Santa Cecilia Light. It has some light creamy tones, and burgundy speckling to pick up the cherry. Kashmir White is very gray. Crema Bordeaux is also a solid choice, very rich coloring but make sure the slab is not overwhelmingly red.
  • Lisa 03:10PM, Oct 2 2009 What paint color do you think would go well with Kashmir white? Cabinets are maple, medium brown. Thanks.
    • All Granite and Marble 03:42PM, Oct 3 2009 Lisa: A grey with blue undertones would coordinate well with Kashmir White.
  • Rupa 12:11AM, Aug 27 2009 I want a rate/sq ft for the Kashmir White installed. I am building a custom home and want to know the turnaround time and the specs of the stone quality. Please email me at ragbirsinghr@email.chop.edu. Thanks. Rupa
