    Barbara,

I agree, I think this is an excellent choice for you, good job!

  • Marble.com - Peter 02:08PM, Dec 18 2013

    mbs235,

I would suggest going with a combination of black and grey color tones.

  • mbs235 02:32AM, Dec 17 2013

What do you think about luna pearl counters with white cabinets and white subway tile backsplash? Too bland? What color walls and what kind of floor tile would you pair with that combination to warm it up?

  • Marble.com - Peter 02:16PM, Dec 2 2013

    Mark R,
The maple gunstock flooring may clash a bit with the lausanne maple expresso cabinets, try something a bit darker or lighter for a nice contrast.

    Thanks
What do u think about that combination with maple gunstock flooring ?

  • Marble.com - Peter 02:19PM, Nov 29 2013

    Mark,

I think that it would be a nice contrast for sure!

    Best Regards,

    Peter

What do you think about luna pearl countertops with lausanne maple expresso cabinets ?

  • Marble.com - Peter 01:17PM, Oct 7 2013

That's a great idea, this will help you to determine which color will be best for you. When you see the stone in the same lighting as your samples you are able to full determine how well of a match it is. We look forward to your visit!
    Best Regards,
    Peter

Oh, wow! Yes, I can see it, thanks for the link samples. A little different than I was thinking but I get it.
Hmmm, now I wondering if the platinum backsplash is too busy for the Luna Pearl granite? Probably best I bring everything with when picking out the slab.

  • Marble.com - Peter 01:37PM, Oct 4 2013

    Cher, Hello!
Being that your accessories do not quite match this granite, I would suggest a paint color which would highlight and complement the undertones of this granite. Take a look the link I have attached. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/e...

Hi Peter, below is a picture of the platinum backsplash and river flint ceramic floor tile. Next week I'm going to pick out our Luna Pearl slab. We also have new to the ceiling darker cherry cabinets coming in 2 weeks. We have a smaller kitchen but will have tons of new storage with the cabinets. Your thoughts on picture and a Luna Pearl counter? Paint color for one and half walls? I was thinking a cool neutral color. Thanks!!!

    Beautiful!

Cher, please send pictures! Thank you

actually the mosaic backsplash is called "platinum" and is glass and stone (not metal).

  • Cher 02:05PM, Oct 3 2013

Hi! Love the Luna Pearl granite counter! What are your thoughts with dark cherry cabinets and Flint color ceramic floor tiles? I'm lost on what color mosaic backsplash to use? Was kind of leaning toward glass/metal gray and black? Help :)

Hello there. Sorry for the late response. Indeed, I think the Luna Pearl would look very elegant and sharp against a walnut cabinet color. Go for it!

  • Know_no123 02:14AM, Jan 31 2013

walnut looking cabnets would this look nice?

The Luna Pearl may very well be a little too light, neutral, and bland. How about some warm highlights with choices such as Santa Cecilia or Giallo Ornamental. That would be much more appropriate and an elegant complement.

Hi Richard, we have white cabinets and white appliances.  Is this too light for us?

  • Marble.com - Derek 09:09PM, Nov 9 2011 Many stones can look quite similar indeed!
  • Yogeshsharma501 05:24PM, Nov 5 2011 this one's exactly similar to one P.white granite which originates in india
  • Richard 01:37PM, Apr 24 2011 We have cappuchino cabinets, we really like Luna pearl. Will that be a good combination or do you recommend some other color
    • All Granite and Marble 01:21PM, Apr 25 2011 Richard: The Luna Pearl is a safe choice with a calm pattern and design. Another option could be Kashmir White. Also a color with some warmer tones in it, for example Astoria or Giallo Ornamental C, would be appropriate.
  • Marissa 04:20PM, Mar 29 2010 We have cool bright white cabinets. Would luna pearl be too light for us? We have stainless steel and black appliances. I like how luna's base colors are black gray and white. We are also considering kashmir white and caledonia.
    • All Granite and Marble 04:33PM, Mar 29 2010 Marissa: I'd suggest to use a darker granite, perhaps Tropical Brown. But if you're doing a white kitchen, then these choices are appropriate.
  • Clint 02:26PM, Oct 8 2008 Very impressive stone!
