  • Marble.com - Kinga 07:15PM, Feb 9 2012 In addition to Derek’s stunning suggestions, the Astoria and Giallo Napoleone would also work very well in your space.
  • Marble.com - Derek 04:24PM, Feb 9 2012 You have a very pretty and warm tile choice. The Monet might be a little too busy for your current set-up. How about a more consistent pattern stone such as Santa Cecilia Real or Giallo Ornamental?
  • Elery 07:00PM, Jan 23 2011 I purchased McKinley cabinets from Shenandoah with the Butterscotch finish. I have a Santos Mahogony wood flooring and the only thing left is choosing the color of the granite countertop. Can you suggest any particular granite colors that would look good with the flooring and cabinets? Perhaps something either in a contrast or to match. So far, I've looked at the Madura Gold and Moscarello. In your professional opinion, what can you suggest?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:14AM, Jan 24 2011 Elery: The Madura Gold is a wonderful choice for your design. Another option I recommend is the Crema Bordeaux. Also, try Golden Rock. Let me know what you think of these.
  • Dave 03:10PM, Jan 21 2011 We are getting hickory cabinets. With all the tones in the wood, we are wondering what our best choice would be for the granite.
    • All Granite and Marble 10:42AM, Jan 24 2011 Dave: I'd use a darker granite color, some excellent options are Butterfly Antique, Tropical Brown, and Tan Brown.
  • Jason 11:32PM, Aug 30 2010 We are getting cherry cabinets. My wife likes the grain over the veins, and I like the lighter colors of granite for contrast. She 188R and I like 139L. We prefer to stay in Single or Double blue price categories. Please give us 2-3 suggestions of granite codes that would be a good compromise. My biggest thing, is with hardwood floor kitchen, cherry brown cabinets, is to have a contrast to give "differential and some color" into the room. Please suggest.
    • All Granite and Marble 11:38AM, Sep 3 2010 Jason: Some attractively priced choices that create sufficient contrast are: Santa Cecilia, Giallo Ornamental, New Venetian Gold.
  • Louise 01:56PM, Feb 26 2010 We installed new cabinets with an expresso stain over maple and chose this granite will it be OK? Thanks
  • Louis 04:16PM, Dec 4 2009 OK, we just sanded our cabinets down to bare oak, painted them light cream and then did the glaze-antiquing finish. We put down 25 inch tile that has brown, light-light purple and shades of tan. We then put this stone down for our counter top, bar top, back splash and island...it looks amazing!!!
    • All Granite and Marble 08:52AM, Feb 27 2010 Louise: Absolutely. A very rich and inviting choice.
  • Donna 01:38PM, Oct 15 2009 Would this look goodwith white enameled cabinets?
    • All Granite and Marble 02:04PM, Oct 15 2009 Donna: It would look stunning!
  • Lori 10:28AM, Aug 13 2009 Would this granite go with medium oak cabinets and one shade darker oak floors? Please help me I'm looking to for earth tones in the browns.
    • All Granite and Marble 03:10PM, Aug 13 2009 Lori: My only concern is that it might look too "yellow" maybe something a little darker like Lapidus.
  • Theresa 07:38PM, May 1 2008 I am getting either cherry cabinets with a chocolate glaze finish or maple cabinets with a ginger glaze finish. Would this stone look ok with either choice? Thanks!
    • All Granite and Marble 01:20PM, May 30 2008 Theresa: Yes, it would look great with both. However the contrast will be better with the dark cherry. More of a wow factor.
  • Karen 10:00PM, Oct 23 2007 Yes. They have a medium stain which tones down the grain.
    • All Granite and Marble 03:02PM, Oct 24 2007 Karen: It should look breathtaking then. Please post the results!
  • Karen 07:23PM, Oct 20 2007 Would this look good with honey hickory cabinets?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:18AM, Oct 23 2007 Karen: Interesting combination, especially that we seldom see hickory cabinets these days. Will your cabinets be stained at all?
