  • Valerie 10:42PM, Mar 23 2010 What do you think of this with oak cabinets? I was thinking counters would need to be a consistent patterns since oak already has its own pattern.Any other suggestions helpful.
    • All Granite and Marble 08:41AM, Mar 24 2010 Valerie: This is an excellent choice. Another suggestion is Sierra Brown.
  • Sonia 04:35PM, May 14 2009 I have maple, mocha glazed kitchen cabinets. Looking for a granite color that would look great with my cabinets, oak hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. Any suggestions on which granites would work? How about New Giallo Veneziano? Thanks.
    • All Granite and Marble 09:23AM, May 16 2009 Sonia: It's a safe choice. Very good looking stone. Try the other giallos as well.
  • Donna 09:59AM, Apr 7 2009 Dear Moderator, thank you so much for your quick response. I actually love your suggestion. I'm stopping by Friday to look at it. Can you offer me a couple other options to see while I'm there; maybe one more spotted instead of wavy. I love the fact that it brings warmth into the kitchen.
    • All Granite and Marble 09:12AM, Apr 8 2009 Donna: The spotted stones are usually easier to choose because they don't have a lot variation, when you are there ask for Simon. He'll be able to help you out.
  • Donna 02:58PM, Apr 6 2009 I am putting in maple cabinets w/honey stain. I would like granite that brings color into the room, and will contrast with the cabinets. There isn't alot of light (one window above sink). I don't want the granite to look dark and black. I really want to use it to bring in color. I am planning to tile the floor, but won't pick color until granite is decided. Brought home some greens (butterfly and a couple others) from your place, but they get lost in the room, and all cast dark and black. I have looked over and over and can't connect with anything. I was wondering about this one. Please help!!
    • All Granite and Marble 08:17AM, Apr 7 2009 Donna: Try looking at Golden Rock, it's a rich colored stone which would contrast with your cabinets. It might seem very busy but you can be the judge of that. Here's a kitchen with this stone http://www.marble.com/countertops/galleries/full/kitchens/44.html
  • Cate 01:28AM, May 11 2008 Do you think this stone has a lot of gray in the color? I do not want to bring out the gray veining in my backspash.
    • All Granite and Marble 11:46AM, Jun 6 2008 Cate: No. No gray whatsoever.
