We are installing soft canvas color with cocoa glaze cabinets, all appliances are stainless steel, floor is bricklike tile. the tile is not orange red but a bluer tone. Would this look good or would a darker richer color be better?

Nettie Grimes: I think a darker countertop would be more appropriate for a deep contrast to offset the cabinets. I recommend Giallo Vicenza, Tropical Brown, or Baltic Brown.

I am installing a birch ivory vanity in a bathroom and am considering the Oro Brasil and New V. Gold as options? Do you think that one might look better than the other with that cabinet finish, they seem very similar? I am leaning toward the Oro.

Stacey: Good choice, the Brasil will look very good.

I have beech cabinets, beige floor and will be installing a backsplash with mixed colors of chocolate, light beige, ivory and a mid tone brown. Will this granite work? I don't want to do a darker countertop.

Jen: I think it's perfect. Very nice backsplash btw.
