  • Kathy 08:03AM, Dec 13 2008 I have cherry cabinets a fair amount of red -- almost cordovan color -- will this stone work? It's a small kitchen.
    • All Granite and Marble 06:00PM, Dec 16 2008 Kathy: Yes, it should work.
  • Shweta 10:46AM, Oct 16 2008 I have oak cabinets and off white ceramic tile floor. We picked out a sample of Penta Gold at your store but not sure if this will wash out the kitchen. We have huge kitchen with breakfast counter and we get mot of light as well. Which one would be the best with steel appliances. Would black be too dark? Please suggest
    • All Granite and Marble 10:03AM, Nov 19 2008 Shweta: While black will give you plenty of contrast, it will also drive you nuts with its tendency to show dirt and smudges. I like this stone. I think the huge "tongues" of color will really create an interesting patter once cut to the countertop size.
  • Carla 10:23PM, Jan 27 2008 I have oak cupboards, cream appliances, tan tile floors. Would penta gold work? Any other ideas for a color?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:10AM, Feb 7 2008 Carla: It would be a low contrast setup, but yes, it would work.
