  • Marble.com - Kinga 01:10PM, Aug 11 2011 I agree with Derek. The Platinum Bahia would create a dramatic contrast that would Wow anyone viewing it. Go for it!
  • Marble.com - Derek 08:03PM, Aug 10 2011 Absolutely! The Platinum Bahia will create a rich and elegant contrast. The reflective flecks create a beautiful sparkle that will make the stone a center piece of your design. Go for it!
  • Amanda 03:08AM, Aug 9 2011 Would this granite look good with cream cabinets with a brown glaze, golden tile floor and medium brown island?  I was originally looking at Juparana Persia but this is beautiful.
  • Phyllis 01:44PM, Mar 9 2011 THANK YOU....RIGHT NOW MY WALLS ARE PAINTED "UNIVERSAL kHAKI" IN DEN AND "RELAXED KHAKI" IN KITCHEN (GALLEY KITCHEN). WILL THESE COLORS GO WITH THE EMERALD PEARL GRANITE? IF NOT, WOULD IT BE BETTER TO USE PLAIN BLACK GRANITE--OR, IS THERE ANOTHER PAINT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND? OR IS THERE A LIHT GRANITE YOU THINK WOULD PULL IT TOGETHER? AS YOU CAN SEE, I AM REALLY MIXED UP......MANY THANKS....
    • All Granite and Marble 09:15AM, Mar 10 2011 Phyllis: I think the Platinum Bahia will look beautiful and reflective with your wall color combination, go for it!
  • Jill 09:25AM, Jul 28 2010 Is this stone the same as antique brown?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:34AM, Jul 28 2010 Jill: Yes.
  • Mary 12:42PM, Feb 4 2010 Can I seal Platinum Bahia -- or would it hurt/dull the granite?
    • All Granite and Marble 04:18PM, Feb 4 2010 Mary: It is actually beneficial to seal granite, it's protection from staining. I recommend to seal annually (once a year).
  • Linda 09:28PM, Jan 4 2010 Have honey oak cabinets and cream tile floors, stainless appliances. Looking for a granite to "punch up" the look. What would you suggest?
    • All Granite and Marble 09:21AM, Jan 5 2010 Linda: Check out Blue Pearl.
  • SUE 03:19PM, Aug 8 2009 COULD YOU USE THIS IN A GALLEY KITCHEN WITH A LIGHT FLOOR/
    • All Granite and Marble 09:27AM, Aug 10 2009 SUE: Absolutely.
  • Leslie 09:35PM, May 8 2009 Looking for a rose or pink type marble, not busy, for 80" bathroom vanity. I Live in San Francisco - any outlets here?
    • All Granite and Marble 10:15AM, May 11 2009 Leslie: Sorry, no outlets there. We're only in the Tri-State area. Try Rosa Levanto.
  • Missy 10:37PM, Apr 5 2009 Would this granite look good on white cabinets.. not creamy. I have looked at light granite and black.. my kitchen opens into my family room with an open bar with columns above a bank of cabinets on kitchen side and a plain open wall on the other side in the family room. passage way on both sides .. the black seems hard because my family room is warm browns amd gold.. but the kitchen seems washed out.. white appliance now.. beige ceramic tile.. will eventually replace with ss appliances.. Your input would be helpful... Thanks in advance.
    • All Granite and Marble 11:10AM, Apr 6 2009 Missy: This is a very beautiful stone, it's almost like milk chocolate brown with golden flakes. It would be a nice choice for your setting.
  • Angela 07:43PM, May 3 2008 Trying to select Kitchen countertops. We have a U- shaped kitchen with an island and a wet bar. The island and wet bar are cherry with a black stain, the perimeter cabinets are Cream/Linen Color? We are leaning towards Brazilian Cherry Hardwood floors
    • All Granite and Marble 12:48PM, Jun 5 2008 Angela: Not counting the floor, your kitchen is spot on with the photos above. Looks great.
  • Deborah 11:47AM, Dec 24 2007 Does this granite go by another name? I am outside of Houston, Texas would love to see this, however you seem to be the only ones with this product. do you ship?
    • All Granite and Marble 12:05PM, Jan 3 2008 Deborah: We don't ship, but check your local sources for Chocolate Brown, that's another name for this stone.
