Hi, I think that you are absolutely on the right track in terms of design thinking. Grey veins with espresso color cabinet will give you elegant atmosphere. I haven't seen leather finisz of that one stone, but I would recommend you to go with glossy and shiny countertop. Good luck !
Hi,
We are having a new home built and I am considering this color for our master bath. The cabinets will be an espresso color, and the floor tile is rectangular with horizontal streaks in varying shades of gray. We had initially chosen the New Caledonia granite, but the more I look at it, the more I dislike how stagnant it is. I really like the River White because of the movement.
Do you think this would complement the floor tile we selected or compete with it? Also, does this stone look good with a leathered finish?
Thank you.
Hi, yes the stone is available in both facilities in Stroudsburg, PA and also in Ridgefield Park, NJ or in South Plainfield, NJ.
Is the River Valley/River White Granite available in either of the NJ or PA locations? Need about 50-55sq ft.
The difference in porousness between river white granite or "yellow" granite isn't really significant. It's more about light granite and dark granite. They are more porous than darker stones and are more likely to require an impregnating sealer on a regular basis to help impede staining. Please find some information how you should take care of the stone and seal it: http://www.marble.com/articles... .
how porous is river white? will this stain more easily than cecilia or other "yellow" granites?
Thank you
A dark, elegant granite with green undertones for a strong contrast that I recommend is Ubatuba, Golden Jade, and Pocono Green. Hope this helps!
Thinking of using the River White in a off white/Linen kitchen - would like to consider a complimentary granite for the island any thoughts? Prefer something either darker in the green tones or even something white but not yellow/gold.
If you decide not to use a stone or porcelain backsplash of some sorts, you should include a 4" River White backsplash then paint the wall with a light, neutral, and warm color such as Benjamin Moore Linen White or Barely Beige. For the floor tile, my recommendation is Mina Giallo travertine or a similar shade. I've attached a photo for your reference. Good luck!
To add to my last post, the vanity is cafe walnut. Any thoughts if we decide not to use a backsplash? Thank You!
We are doing a small bath remodel. We have a 48 in ronbow neoclassic console vanity and purchase River White granite. Need help on choosing a floor tile and wall color. Any suggestions?
